Boyd Tinsley, the violinist for the previous Dave Matthews Band, was detained for a DUI following an admitted car accident, which has raised new legal issues.
The 60- yr- ancient was apprehended on Monday in Rio, Virginia, after officials responded to a two- car accident, TMZ reported. What appears to be Tinsley in cuffs at the picture was even captured on a video of the incident, which was also obtained by the store.
According to witnesses, his Escalade collided with a Corvette and the two vehicles then pulled over to explore. When the vehicle of the Corvette noticed something peculiar about Tinsley’s tone, they officially called the police.
The singer was booked around 9: 30 p. m. and released only an hour later after he posted friendship, according to documents obtained by , TMZ.
This event adds to Tinsley’s continued legal problems. Four months ago, he was the subject of a lawsuit brought by ex-Crystal Garden bandmate James Frost-Winn, who falsely accused Tinsley of sexual abuse.
In response to the claims, Dave Matthews Band members distanced themselves from Tinsley, saying they were” shocked by these shocking claims and we were not originally aware of them.”
In June 2019, Tinsley and Frost-Winn reached an out-of-court colony, denying the allegations, and settled the case. In February, Tinsley was once more sued for allegedly violating a nondisparagement section.
