Whelp…Â
Over the next several days, there will be a litany of kneejerk reactions to assess the debate’s PR fallout via opinion polls and various audience snapshots, but alas, they wo n’t tell you anything useful. The sand of popular opinion will still be shifting significantly over the next few days with this one of those events. So, it really does n’t matter where we are right now, what matters is where we’re going to be.  ,

Media outlets adore these Frank Luntz-inspired voting authorities, who will obsess over which times triggered the most clicks or what an viewers thought minute by minute, but the majority of this data is useless. Why? Because these occasions– and, specifically, that degree of Biden trainwreck – do n’t comprise of a bunch of personal moments multiplied. The human brain did n’t perform the Trump-Biden debate on a 10-point must system, which allows you to add up the scorecards and see who won the most rounds. That’s just not how an market processes data.  ,
What is truly important is n’t the number of individual events, but the feeling when those times are over.  ,
It’s the conclusion that things.  ,
In baseball parlance, it does n’t matter which team “won” the most innings but which team won the game. Everything else is ancillary or subjective, the point is the ultimate scoreboard.  ,
What will the viewers learn when the photograph crystallizes and the dust settles?  ,
The first is the most obvious: President Biden is old AF ( as the boys say ) and mentally sick. Best now, the government is considering what this means for them, their land, and the entire world.  ,
Maybe the modern-day administration is mainly symbolic, and Biden has strong, competent individuals around him, and there are ways they may try to rationalize it. Apparently Trump is also worse. Biden could have taken the wrong cold medicine or had a flu because he ca n’t be like this all the time, can he?  ,

Biden’s best counter-PR strategy would be to demonstrate his mental intelligence through interviews on friendly platforms in (very ) controlled settings where he can zing Trump with all those debate one-liners he so blatantly mangled ( or just forgot ). He’ll be feisty ( er ), lively ( er ), and lucid ( er ) – and this outreach will certainly help. At least for a little while.  ,
The primary audience Biden positively, 100 percent, may reach is his followers. Biden is toast if he ca n’t persuade them that he can still defeat Trump and win the election ( and is at least sorta-kind of lucid enough to at least sort of sort of do the job ). Eventually, some combination of Clinton ( s ), Obama ( s ), and party leaders will demand he step aside. So this is the first opening he had lock, and he must plug it quickly.  ,
But by midweek, the National people may have solidified their mind:  ,
They’ll be unhappy that they were lied to.  ,
They’ll be angry that journalists, officials, and experts hid the outlandishness of Biden’s intellectual decay from them.  ,
What the devil did it seem like if there was an incident position somewhere in the world and Biden had to answer a midnight telephone call? That is what they may think.  ,

MAGA Republicans may be saying,” I told you so,” but many Democrats are shocked to discover that they made the PR blunder of believing in their own press releases. They always received a warning from the media outlets and influential people they trusted that Biden was thus diminished, and they are now experiencing emotional slack.
They knew Biden was outdated… but not THAT older!  ,
The Trump-Biden conversation had a reversal in popular mind. The ramifications, ripples, and tremors are still to come. The outcome was altered by Bindent’s functionality, turning this election into a vote for him. However, Biden needed the vote to be a Trump election in order for him to win.  ,
Left unregulated, the voters will argue that Trump may occasionally offer dishonest replies, but at least he understands the questions!  ,
I’m certain there’s a teeny- small part of Trump’s ego that resents being left out of the discussion, but if he can avoid the Trumpian temptation to steal up the spotlight, next the spotlight will continue to showcase an elderly, feeble- minded octogenarian who’s obviously on a steep, downward mental trajectory. Biden is visibly melting under the spotlight, so keep the spotlight on Biden.  ,
Because if Biden’s this bad now, what happens in 2025, 2026, 2027, and 2028? THIS is the person we want to play nuclear chicken with Putin.  ,

After the debate, the only thing that can beat Trump is Trump. ( Which does n’t exactly make it a slam dunk: Time and time again, Trump has been Trump’s worst enemy. ) Trump will win the election by a landslide if the former president can demonstrate the same discipline and restraint he demonstrated throughout the debate.  ,
