Labour head Sir Keir Starmer, who is widely anticipated to be the next prime minister, made a visit to the Shree Swaminarayan Mandir in Kingsbury on Friday, saying that there is “absolutely no place for Hinduphobia in Britain” and that Labour may “build a new strategic partnership with India.”
He began his talk with” Jai Swaminarayan” and praised American Hindus for never having forgotten their origins, for their “rich Hindu history and deep devotion to Britain’s potential”.
If we are elected next year, he said,” We will work hard to manage in the nature of registration to assist you and a world in need.” You are not just significantly contributing to our business, you are also bringing creativity and skills that keeps us aggressive on the global market, which is strengthened by Hindu beliefs.
He claimed that the general election had a history variety of Hindu prospects. If selected, they did” stand- with the whole Labour party- solidly behind the Hindu community, representing your concerns, listening to your voice, working with you, on issues at home as well as on the international stage”, he said.
An American tube band in British regalia played Starmer to the audience. He performed “anjali mudra,” and inside the temple, he carried out a ritual that included “abhisheka,” interacted with regional schoolchildren, and received a “prasad.”
Dr Neeraj Patil, president of Hindus for Labour, said:” He is going to handle anti- Hindu anger, which is most welcomed. 1. 7 million European Hindus are receiving a strong positive signal from him that the potential Labour government will include Hindus in the development and prosperity of this nation.
