
KYIV: Soviet missiles slammed into a town in southern Ukraine, killing seven civilians, including children, and wounding dozens more, regional officials reported.
Ukrainian authorities published images of bodies stretched away under picnic pillows in a garden in Vilniansk and deep craters in the darkened world next to the charred, distorted remains of a developing.
Thirty- six individuals were wounded in Saturday night’s attack, officials said, and declared a time of mourning Sunday. Vilniansk is in Zaporizhzhia region, less than 30 kilometers ( 20 miles ) from the local capital and north of the front lines, as Russian forces continue to occupy part of the province.
