EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A semitruck packed with 63 workers was discovered when it was stopped at a station near Juarez on Saturday, June 29, our media partners in Juarez reported.
The semitruck was stopped on the Pan-American Highway at the Samalayuca convoy.
The majority of the workers were single people and mostly from Guatemala and Ecuador. A Mexican emigration place was where they were taken.
Three communities and three unsupervised minors were placed in homes.
This occurs as Mexico attempts to stop workers who do not possess the necessary philanthropic permits from entering the northeast.
