    WATCH LIVE: Biden delivers remarks on Supreme Court immunity ruling

    Following a Supreme Court ruling that ex-President Donald Trump enjoys some form of immunity from governmental trial for his behavior following the 2020 election, President Joe Biden makes remarks in response.

    The Supreme Court determined that presidents are entitled to “presumptive immunity” for all formal acts and “absolute immunity from legal trial for actions within his convincing and preclusive legal authority” in a 6- 3 decision on Monday. But, it held there is no resistance for “unofficial works”.

    The decision marked a significant win for Trump because it significantly reduces Special Prosecutor Jack Smith’s Jan. 6 event against him.

    Biden is expected to join the singing as Democrats nearly universally denounced the choice.
