Joe Biden does had stumbled in the face of Donald Trump’s torrent of falsehoods next year, explains CBS News ‘ John Dickerson, but which is worse, a liar or a delicate truthteller? This is the false approach that many in the social media have taken to try to stem the effects of the president’s previously unfavorable debate performance.
Trump lied. And, yes, Biden stumbled — and clearly and constantly lied.
For beginners, Biden’s personal charges about Trump’s reported nihilism and fanaticism were all based on rejected claims. Like Trump or love him, he always said that he never told people to “bleach” themselves, always called tiki-torch dress Germans “very good people,” and there is no proof he ever said that” Hitler has done some good points.”
It only got worse. We are aware that Trump lied when claiming that Trump “did everything” regarding Iran because Biden officially denounced the walk on several times after the Republican withdrew from Barack Obama’s offer to the mullahs in 2017. When Trump slammed Egyptian terrorist Qassem Soleimani, who was responsible for the killing of dozens of American service members, in the same way, Biden did the same.
When Biden claimed that the rate was 9 cent at the time of his election, was he telling the truth? Because it was href=”https://thefederalist.com/2024/06/28/here-are-the-20-biggest-whoppers-biden-told-during-his-debate-with-trump/”>1.4 percentage. Perhaps Dickerson recalls the president’s assurances to the nation that the price increases he instituted were merely temporary glitches to support Democrats who worked to pass the most expensive href=”https://rollcall.com/2022/07/21/how-build-back-better-started-and-how-its-going-a-timeline/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>spending bill ever, despite warnings from academics.
Biden claimed he was the “only president this … decade” who “does n’t have any troops dying anywhere in the world”, when everyone knows 13 were killed during the administration’s embarrassingly incompetent Afghanistan withdrawal. That was a rest. As was Biden’s claim that Trump’s border crossings have decreased by 40 % since Trump’s election, as did his claim that the Border Patrol union supported him.
These are lies about defining issues of Biden’s president. Prices. The borders. International plan. We also should n’t forget that Biden would be impelled to lie , a lot , more if he were regularly asked tough questions.
Trump’s realist language — with his “everythings” and “everyones” and “bests” and “worsts” — is properly fact- checked by the internet. And that’s okay. Trump, for example, was wrong to say “every” constitutional scholar believed Roe v Wade was a wastes choice. Then suddenly, some regulation experts, right and left, believed Roe was terribly decided, including one- time legal expert Laurence Tribe and best law school graduate Joe Biden.
Biden’s sits about abortion coverage are more significant to voters. The president claimed in a lacked a coherent response that he supported Roe and that Roe did n’t permit elective third-trimester abortions. But that’s not correct. Liberals do not support any constitutional restraint on abortion, regardless of how many times the advertising fact-checks those who point this out or reveals how “rare” late-term methods are.
According to Dickerson, “protecting democracy” is one of the biggest issues facing the nation. It’s strange, then, that investigators do n’t ask the , leader why he keeps circumventing Congress and unconstitutionally “forgiving” student debts, among other professional crimes. Or why does he vilify the Supreme Court? Why has n’t Biden questioned why he labeled Trump an “illegitimate president”? Or why he refuses to accept the results of the 2000 vote. Or why, in the work- up to the 2022 midterms, he prematurely claimed that the election had n’t be “fair” unless the legislature was blown up and Democrats could move election “reform”?
Let’s not miss, sometimes, that Trump lied about his expertise of the family’s impact- peddling business. Why is n’t he asked to explain? Only recently did Biden fabricate what was said in a conversation between him and Special Counsel Robert Hur, who was only partially correct when describing the president as a” sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.”
And that’s another angle Biden’s defenders have taken. We continue to hear that the president is a decent and good man in contrast to his rival. There is little evidence to support it, as with most praise for Biden.
Joe Biden has been the most lied about in the history of presidents. According to the president during the discussion, there is no proof that Beau’s death was related to his deployment to Iraq. And I’ll keep readers amused by all the fairy tales that ruin Biden’s obstinate career, but they could fill a book.
After seeing Biden’s mental capacity on display, go for it. However, no one is approving of your canonization efforts.  ,  ,  ,
