Does Heidi Przybyla, a democratic author, labor for Politico or a left-wing organization supported by Arabella Advisors? It’s difficult to tell from her new reports.
On Tuesday, Przybyla published what conservative radio host Erick Erickson characterized as a “press release” for a group called” Need Justice”. The story, headlined,” Democratic advocacy group plans$ 10M offensive targeting Supreme Court”, chronicles the much- kept operation’s multi- million- dollar campaign to undermine the next practical institution of the federal government.
The group intends to spend$ 10 million on a range of activities, including conducting opposition research on potential Supreme Court nominees, and lobbying for high court ethics reforms, according to plans that were first shared with POLITICO, Przybyla reported. It will also function to appeal the judge’s decisions, including those involving young people and women, and to highlight a network of far-right criminal activists who helped create the conservative supermajority on the Supreme Court.
Left out of Przybyla’s monitoring, but, as Erickson noted,” Need Justice is a part of a multi- billion dollar black cash enterprise of the left called Arabella”.
A gigantic black money organization called Arabella distributes anonymous donations to left-wing causes like “defund police” and islamophobic protests. Last month, CBS called the party a “dark cash behemoth” with companies promoting “progressive factors, like climate change and weed legislation”.
” Currently, they have poured money into state ballot activities, especially where there are competitive Senate or House seats, perhaps as a way of driving turnout”, CBS reported.
Arabella, however, was n’t even mentioned in Przybyla’s part where she described Need Justice’s efforts as part of” an campaigning ecosystem to issue a deep- pocketed system of authoritarian criminal activists helmed by Leonard Leo, the Federalist Society inc- chair”.
On X Tuesday, Erickson wrote in a media release for a left-wing organization that believes in transparency and allegedly believes in republic. The organization is funded by an unnamed leftwing billionaire who is also trying to finance left-wing campaign work in an anonymous manner.
Other recent Przybyla publications include articles about Leonard Leo, the co-chair of the Federalist Society, working in the conservative non-profit sector and promoting Christianity in K-12 classrooms. Przybyla hysterically claimed in February that the re-election of former president Donald Trump would be a victory for” Christian nationalism.”
According to Przybyla’s headline article,” Christian nationalists in America believe that the country was founded as a Christian nation and that Christian values should be prioritized throughout government and public life,”” Trump allies prepare to infuse’ Christian nationalism” in a second administration.”
Przybyla defended her MSNBC reporting.
” The one thing that unites them as Christian nationalists — not Christians by the way, because Christian nationalists is very different — is that they believe that our rights as Americans, as all human beings, do n’t come from any earthly authority, they do n’t come from Congress, they do n’t come from the Supreme Court — they come from God”, she said.
The same principles that were used to create the foundation for American democracy in the first place were also the same ones that were presented as “extremist” under the umbrella of” Christian nationalism” by Przybyla, according to Federalist Senior Editor David Harsanyi.
” If This Is’ Christian Nationalism,’ Sign Me Up”! Harsanyi , headlined , his response.
The argument made by numerous critics against” Christian nationalism” sounds exactly like the one for American liberty that is provided by the Declaration of Independence. Then again, the idea that man has inalienable, universal rights goes back to ancient Greece, at least. Accepting the idea that the state ca n’t give or take our God-given freedoms is essential to the entire American project. It is the best kind of ‘ extremism.’
Yet Przybyla would later write commentary for” The Right Way to Cover the Intersection of Religion and Politics.”
Przybyla seems to be particularly focused on the conservative legal movement. She participated in the smear campaign against Justice Brett Kavanaugh in 2018, and she also published a top-notch article about Justice Neil Gorsuch last year.
The story, headlined” Law firm head bought Gorsuch- owned property”, accused the justice of impropriety with the claim:” For nearly two years beginning in 2015, Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch sought a buyer for a 40- acre tract of property he co- owned in rural Granby, Colo”. During his nomination process in 2017, Gorsuch allegedly left the” Identity of buyer/seller” blank for the estate transaction.
None of the Supreme Court Justices in 2017 made a single note in that column for any transaction, according to Harsanyi, who examined” all the disclosure forms of Supreme Court Justices in 2017″.
According to Harsanyi,” That line has never seen as much as a scribble from any justice in any year,” as far as I can tell. ” Politico is holding Gorsuch to a completely new standard.”
The estate, meanwhile, was sold just nine days after the justice’s confirmation, before he even ruled on a single case, to a lawyer at Colorado’s largest law firm.
Przybyla followed the story with another story with the headline” Leonard Leo used Federalist Society contact to obtain$ 1.6B donation” several days later.
According to her,” Leonard Leo,” who assisted in the selection of former president Donald Trump’s judicial nominees, received a significant donation through an introduction through the Federalist Society, whose tax status forbids political activism.
” Who knows, maybe Przybyla is under the impression that it’s illegal for one- time employees of 501 ( c ) ( 3 ) s to interact with any prospective political donors they meet through old acquaintances”, Harsanyi reported. ” Sorry. After reading the 1700-word piece, all we learn is that there is a lot of typical fundraising in Washington, D.C., and that no one has broken any laws or done anything unethical.  ”,
