Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the candidate for president, requested my moderateship of” The Real Debate” next year.
Kennedy reacted negatively to CNN by refusing to allow him to participate in the Trump-Biden conversation.  ,

Elon Musk was persuaded by his supporters to tweet his True Conversation. They asked me to give RFK Jr. the exact issues, with the same time limits.
I agreed, hoping to hear some great new thoughts.  ,
I did n’t.  ,
As you know, Joe Biden slept, and Donald Trump lied. Also, OK, Biden lied at least nine days, too, perhaps by CNN’s matter.  ,
Kennedy was stronger.  ,
But not much.
He did recognize that our president’s deficit spending spree is awful. He said he’d reduce military saving. He criticized scientific Covid evacuations and expressed his admiration for student freedom.
But he, also, dodged issues, blathered on previous time limits and pushed huge government nonsense like,” Every million money we spend on baby care creates 22 work”.
Grant me a break.
This week is Independence Day.
As presidential candidates promise to subsidize flying cars ( Trump ), free community college tuition ( Biden ) and “affordable” housing via 3 % government- backed bonds ( Kennedy ), I think about how bewildered and horrified The Founding Fathers would be by such promises.
On the Fourth of July about 250 years before, they signed the Declaration of Independence, marking the birth of our society.
They did not need life dominated by politicians. They wanted a community made up of free individuals. They believed every human being has “unalienable rights” to life, liberty and ( justly acquired ) property.  ,
The Constitution and the Declaration of Independence eventually led to the most free and rich countries in world history.  ,

Before 1776, folks thought there was a “divine correct” of kings and nobles to rule over them.  ,
America was successful because the owners refrained from doing so.  ,
In the Virginia Declaration of Rights, George Mason wrote,” All power is vested in, and thus derived from, the folks” . ,
In contrast, Kennedy and Biden make claims that resemble the” Universal Declaration of Human Rights” of the United Nations. U. N. officials say every man deserves “holidays with give… clothing, housing and health care and important cultural services”.
The founders made it abundantly clear that constrained government should be used.  , They did n’t think we had a claim on our neighbor’s money. We should n’t try to force them to pay for our food, clothing, housing, prescription drugs, college tuition…  ,
They think you have the right to be left solely to seek pleasure as you please.
For a while, the U. S. state stayed reasonable. Most politicians let people make their own decisions about where to live, what work to hold, and what to say.  ,
There were a small number of “public employees”. But they were n’t our bosses.  ,
Patrick Henry declared:” The regulating people are the employees of the people”.
But now there are 23 million government workers. Some think they , are in charge of anything.  ,
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio- Cortez, pushing her Green New Deal, declared herself” the manager” . ,
The Biden administration wants to know what kind of vehicle you may travel.  ,
, During the pandemic, officials ordered people to stay home, institutions to shut down and companies to close.

Then, as frequently happens in” Big Government World,” people who have been harmed by government doctrines demand compensation from politicians, as happens frequently.
The American Pyrotechnics Association requested relief in the next Senate Covid offer to address the exclusive and certain fees to this business after institutions banned Fourth of July fireworks, according to the NYT. The economy anticipates that Congress will allocate$ 175 million to it in a new stimulus bill.  ,  ,
Now, the politically connected are known to actively entrance to win more of your money.
The administration’s requirement for you to add a chemical into your body was the last straw, in the opinion of some of you.
When some resisted treatments, Biden warned,” Our patience is wearing thin”.
His compassion? He believes he is who? My parents? My prince?
At least Kennedy does n’t say things like that. But he does say immoral issues. You can choose for yourself whether he’s a good prospect after I release my sit-down discussion with him in a few weeks.
Consider Milton Friedman’s issue from the Fourth of July:” How can we prevent the state we create from becoming a Frankenstein that may endanger the liberty we establish it to safeguard?”
