House Intelligence Committee Chairman Mike Turner (R-OH) is requesting comments from the White House‘s chief of staff regarding any classified information that was discussed during meetings with President Joe Biden with his brother Hunter.
In a letter sent to Jeff Zients, the chief of staff, on Wednesday, Turner asks for “full budgeting of any classified information discussed or disclosed in these conferences.”
” According to media monitoring, the President’s father’s immediate presence at formal meetings has caused confusion for some White House staff, prompting a reaction of’ What the hell is happening?'” Turner wrote.
This year, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre confirmed that Hunter Biden was present with the leader as he prepared to deliver a powerful speech in response to the Supreme Court’s decision regarding political immunity. After NBC News learned Hunter Biden had been” strongly advising his papa,” the assurance came after the political debate on Thursday.
” Hunter came up with him and walked with him into that appointment, that training, that speech training, and, you know, and he ended up spending moment with his father and his household that night”, Jean- Pierre told reporters on Tuesday. ” That is essentially what happened”.

The second father’s presence in meetings at the White House is “disturbing,” according to Turner in his notice.
It’s not clear what formal meetings and phone calling Hunter Biden is having, what role, and whether or not these conversations involve confidential information, according to Turner. ” An quick response is requested, choose contact the Committee of the formal meetings Hunter Biden is holding, and if classified information is being made public about meetings that the President is reportedly having with him.”
