Donald Trump’s child Ivanka Trump said she will go the Republican National Convention where his dad will actually accept the nomination for president despite speculations about Melania Trump’s haphazard role in her husband’s political campaign. Ivanka played a significant part in both 2016 and 2020, but she is not frequently seen again. In an interview with blogger Lex Fridman, she said elections is a “rough, hard business” and a “pretty black world” but she is there to help her parents. She will no longer serve at the occasion in any social capability, though she has left politics.
Ivanka described her family’s wrongful conviction in the calm money situation as painful. ” On a human level, it’s my father and I love him very much, so it’s painful to experience, but ultimately, I wish it did n’t have to be this way”, Ivanka said.
During Trump’s presidency, Ivanka served as a senior consultant in the leadership but in the last four decades, she recoiled from politicians and has not been a part of her husband’s 2024 plan. She claimed that it was impossible for her to balance her home and a social position at the same time because politics is not a part-time job.
” I think first and foremost, it was a choice rooted in me being a parent, actually thinking about what they need from me now… I believe you ca n’t dabble in politics because it is a rough, rough business. I think you have to possibly get all in or all out”, she told Fridman.
” And I know today, the cost]my children ] would pay for me being all in, emotionally in terms of my absence at such a formative point in their life. And I’m not willing to make them bear that cost, the mother of Arabella ( 12 ), Joseph ( 9 ) and Theodore ( 7 ) said.
” I even think for politicians, it’s a very dark world. There’s a lot of shadows, a lot of anger, and it’s just really at odds with what feels good for me as a human being,” she said.
