Rudolph Giuliani is barred from practicing law in New York for his attempts to interfere with the 2020 election results, a express appealing court&nbsp, ruled&nbsp, on Tuesday.

In his potential as an attorney for former president Donald J. Trump and the Trump campaign in connection with Trump’s unsuccessful bid for reelection in 2020, the jury determined that Giuliani made “demonstrably misleading and false statements to judges, legislators, and the public at big.”

Giuliani, the court found,” not only deliberately violated some of the most fundamental tenets of the legal profession, but he also actively contributed to the national strife that has followed the 2020 Presidential election, for which he is entirely unrepentant”.

The disbarment, which takes effect immediately, is the latest setback for Giuliani, who was once dubbed” America’s mayor” for his leadership in New York City after the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.

Giuliani has been accused in Georgia and Arizona of trying to rig the results of the 2020 election. And he&nbsp, filed for bankruptcy&nbsp, after a&nbsp, court ruled&nbsp, last year that he must pay$ 148 million to two former Fulton County election workers who say he defamed them.

After Trump’s defeat in Georgia, Wandrea” Shaye” Moss and Ruby Freeman alleged false allegations about them that Giuliani had made.

On Tuesday, the two’s representatives said they would not comment.

Ted Goodman, spokesperson for Giuliani, said they will appeal and called the decision “objectively flawed”.

” Members of the legal community who respect the rule of law in this country should immediately speak out against this politically and ideologically corrupted decision,” Goodman said in a statement.

Giuliani’s state-issued law license had already been suspended for making false election claims. The disbarment refers to the attorney’s name being” stricken from the roll of attorneys and counselors -at-law in the State of New York” in accordance with Tuesday’s ruling.
