A 29-year-old man was discovered dead in a horrible incident at an online cafe after staff mistakenly believed his lifeless body as a sleeping victim. The person, who often visited the shop, passed away during an extended game program, and his dying went unnoticed for 30 days.
The gentleman entered the shop on June 1 for a protracted gambling session. It was not until June 3, at 10 am, that a worker at the cafe called the police. According to a South China Morning Post report, the employee had tapped the guy on the arm and said he should wake up, but the worker discovered that he had a warm body.
He did not include breakfast on June 2 based on the meal residuals left on the table. According to Jimu News, a police officer claimed that he “possibly died unexpectedly on June 2 in the morning.”
The boy’s brother-in-law, who is surnamed Chen, expressed issue and resentment over how the dying endured for so long. ” He sat in an open place instead of a finished split. People should have been monitoring him and noticing his odd behavior, Chen said.
The deceased was portrayed as a regular customer who appeared to be well and usually spent about six hours there.
The two people on duty at the time did not realize the person had” slept” for an unusually long time, as they frequently get angry from consumers when they wake them up, according to the employer.
The event is now being looked into by neighborhood police.
Sudden deaths have become a recurring theme in Chinese media, with new instances involving a 23-year-old migrant worker in Jiangsu state who died in his dorm after working for more than 10 hours a time for a quarter and a 19-year-old man who died instantly after consuming a warm drink following a hockey game in 2022.
