Next night, Paula covered Joe Biden’s meeting with George Stephanopoulos on ABC News, a treatment meant to remove mounting concerns about the government’s mental clarity. Biden stated in the interview that he has no intention of leaving the culture, which places many on the left in a very difficult place: continue to support him or call on him to withdraw, undermining his nomination.

Have fun with that, Dems!
Democrats actually have a problem because they thought this interview would be Biden’s chance to stabilize the situation, but he blatantly did not. And you can see why the media could n’t possibly interpret the interview as having done Biden any favors by simply looking at the faces of the ABC News panel.

It’s like watching individuals at a funeral.
Yikes.
When Stephanopoulos opened the interview by stating that there were” no cuts, no edits” to the video, it was probably obvious to most people that it was n’t going to be great for Joe Biden. As Paula noted,” There was really no want. Now, there was no way to “pray the pig.” He inquired about whether Biden was aware of how badly the conversation was going. After spending more than a week of the battle blaming staff for his appearance, Biden admitted,” It was no one’s problem but mine.”

Biden next incongruously mentioned his current events and significant crowds. Stephanopoulos suggested Biden should n’t compare his rallies to Trump’s. Biden repeated,” I only had a terrible day”, and claimed Trump distracted him during the conversation.

So much for accepting complete accountability for his performance, right?
Stephanopoulos, to his credit, actually pushed up on Biden’s tale. He cited a drop structure and inquired as to whether Biden was still in power.
” I am]the same ] in terms of success”, Biden claimed ,
Biden claimed the same achievement he had had throughout the battle, like foreign policy and battling Big Pharma, adding he’d restored “decency” to the office. When asked about the cost of his career, Biden repeated,” A terrible day”. Stephanopoulos pressed on Biden’s mental state. Although he denied using any particular mental checks, he cited recent exchanges with world leaders while skipping specifics.
Biden insisted he’s the best prospect to fight Trump, despite his poor voting. In fairness to him, polls indicate that any candidate who might actually take his place does n’t do much better against Trump.
Ari Fleischer, a former White House press secretary and Fox News contributor, described the meeting as” the worst of all kingdoms” for Democrats.
” Biden committed no true flubs”, he observed. He “did n’t do anything to force himself to leave the race.” But he appears older, frail, cautious and he’s losing to Trump. But Biden will continue to “do his thing.”

While the exam was pitted as Biden’s create- or- split second, the goalposts were, of training, moved.  ,
At the conclusion of the meeting, Biden said,” We’re going to have, I guess a good way to judge me, is that you’re going to have the NATO conference here in the United States next week.” ” Travel talk. Discover what they say”.
We may, Joe. We does.
