Lisa Barlow, the star of” Real Housewives of Salt Lake City,” and two of her businesses are facing legal action for allegedly failing to pay back more than$ 400,000 in loans.
According to constitutional records obtained by TMZ, Bart Carlson, who claims to be a long-time friend of the real star, filed the lawsuit claiming he loaned Barlow and her Vida Tequila and Luxe Marketing companies a full of$ 410, 842.36 between May 2010 and February 2018.
According to Carlson, Barlow contacted him in 2010 and requested the money because of the financial challenges that her businesses were experiencing. Without setting a billing schedule, Carlson consented to assist Barlow.
The 49-year-old reportedly failed to return any of his money despite numerous attempts to collect on it over the centuries.
” Bart Carlson was once a business partner in a cafe in Park City and, I thought, a friend”, Barlow said in a speech to TMZ.
She continued,” I am deeply saddened that he has decided nine years after our restaurant business ceased to say that I owe him money.” The assertion that I owe Bart or his business wealth is misleading. I usually have my duty and expenses paid. I anticipate the release of the fact, and I intend to hold Bart completely guilty.
Fans of the” True Housewives” company may remember a 2022 season in which a , heated exchange took place after inc- sun Meredith Marks questioned Barlow’s SEC filings for her alcohol brand.
The allegations in question were related to a$ 25, 000 fundraising campaign, and Barlow claimed on the show that the walk had nothing strange going for it.
Signs questioned why her ex-close companion, who frequently boasted about being the wealthiest throw member on the show, would need to use fundraising for a sizable sum at the time.
If you could simply write a check, it would seem very strange to go through those kinds of hoops, Marks said at the moment.
