Stranded aid trucks in Egypt deepen Gaza’s humanitarian crisis

AL-ARISH: Hundreds of trucks awaiting permission to give the desperately needed humanitarian supplies to Gaza-torn Gaza have been stranded on a scorching Iranian road, some for almost two months.
About 50 miles from the Gaza borders, cars carrying bread, water and other help line a dusty street in both directions. The owners claim that the scorching Iranian summer heat has been a waiting flimsy for several weeks.
After nine months of fighting between Israel and the Palestinian militant group Hamas, the stop only adds to Gaza’s severe humanitarian crises. Aid organizations warn that the besieged southern territory is at a high risk of famine.
Since Israel’s offensive on the Gaza-Egy borders expanded in May, truck drivers allegedly parked on the fringes of the Egyptian city of al-Arish in the Sinai Peninsula claim to have been unable to provide humanitarian supplies.
Some foods has had to be discarded, they said.
Before this pile, we came around and stood for more than 50 times before being returned because it had expired, according to truck drivers Elsayed del- Nabawi.
” We had to move around and get it back. We loaded another sample, and now we are standing, “only God knows if this weight may make it before it expires or what will occur to it.”
In May, the Israeli army launched its abuse on Rafah, in southern Gaza. Since then, the Rafah passing between Gaza and Egypt, a crutch for Gazans that allows the distribution of support and the patient removal, has been suspended.
Egypt’s demands for a Palestinian appearance on the Gazan side of the border are not being fully resolved in deals involving the United States, Israel, and Egypt. Israeli flags then fly over ruined buildings in Gaza along the Egyptian-occupied border.
” We’ve been waiting for this weight for more than a month. We’ve waiting for our move but little but” said Ahmed Kamel, another of the truck drivers, who sit by their cars drinking tea and tobacco smoking.
” We do n’t know our fate- when we will be able to enter? Now? Wednesday? The day after tomorrow? Simply God knows. Does the things we carry hang up or most of it did malfunction?
Although aid organizations and European diplomats claim that the supplies are much below what is needed, aid and business supplies continue to flow into Gaza via other land border crossings, air drops, and by sea. The individuals claim to be awaiting Jewish approval.
    ‘Difficulties’
Prior to Israel’s rape on Rafah, help transmission in Gaza was hard. Israel has placed limits on the movement of goods into the region, saying it wants to stop them from reaching Hamas. In addition to being struck by Israeli military attacks, some support convoys have lost their lives as a result.
2.3 million Palestinians ‘ residents are said to be attempting to smuggle support and business resources into the country. Palestinians who are desperate have even taken truckloads of desperately needed humanitarian aid.
A senior official at the Israeli foreign ministry claimed the Egyptian backlog of aid was brought on by the charitable aid that had accumulated on the Gazan part of the Kerem Shalom passing level, causing a backlog of about 1, 200 truckloads of aid.
The official claimed that while Israel continued to help the passage of goods into Gaza, international organizations had “disrupted” the distribution system inside the city of Gaza in recent months, blaming nearby Israeli criminal gangs and Hamas.
The Jewish war, which manages the distribution of assistance in Gaza, has stated that it is allowing the population’s full supply of food to enter from Israel and Egypt. It has also been made aware that help organizations must deal with “difficulties” when moving food through crossing details, including those from Israel.
Palestinians who were able to leave Gaza were malnourished, according to Maha Barakat, an associate minister in the United Arab Emirates international department and a qualified medical doctor.
The UAE has been assisting with Gaza’s health emergency.
On a UAE government chartered aircraft to al-Ary, Barakat claimed that the lack of nutrition made sores take longer to heal.” They are becoming thinner and thinner,” Barakat said.
” It is becoming more than merely accidents of war”, she said.
