Liberals are wringing their hands out about Joe Biden’s fragile mental state and the potential effects on the election. We are hearing more alarming stories about what might be happening in the West Wing as the song of” should he remain or should he go” grows louder.

One of the most recent accounts was released on Friday over at Semafor. Co-founder Ben Smith describes a discussion he had with a “government established with normal exposure to the West Wing, who claimed they had reached a breaking point and wanted to sound the alarm” on July 4. Smith explains that this individual wanted the discussion to be as secretive as possible and that no one could know who they were.
” Their trustworthiness largely depends on my proving to them that I’m a serious man, which I may do,” Smith asserts.” I should also say this guy has nothing to say about the government’s physical problem and was limited to their own personal experience outside of Biden’s small interior circle.”
Even insiders like Smith’s acquaintance could n’t get past the president’s inner circle deep enough to find out what decisions he was making, according to the gist of the conversation. The White House coterie is that powerful.
” It’s questionable even to some inside the West Wing plan process which policy issues reach the leader, and how”, Smith writes. ” Most decisions are made in an opaque circle, which includes the White House’s chief of staff, Jeff Zients ( who regularly speaks with the president ), and are finalized.”
Smith’s source claims to get” very proud of the policies,” but he or she is alarmed by the idea that these decisions may be made without the president being present.

If that’s not alarming much, there’s one region of coverage that apparently does require the president, which may scare the living daylights out of us. Smith refers that” The major exception to this routine, they said, is unusual plan”.
Apparently, it makes total sense that the government’s foreign policy decisions have Biden’s biometrics all over them. Remember that Robert Gates, a former defence minister, once claimed that Biden “has been bad on almost every major international policy and national security issue over the past four decades,” and that his track record as president demonstrates this.

According to Smith,” This style had already been a subject of discussion and excitement among the high-powered advisers who work in and around the White House.” The rites of paperflow are complex, but they claim they are surprised by the lack of readouts from consultations with the president and that they are concerned about the possibility of decisions “being made without him.” “
The leader is in demand and participates in every decision that comes to his table, which is a clear blow to the administration, which it has been blowing for months.
Smith writes:
Collins” is in the middle of all. He signs off on whatever,” said Bruce Reed, the deputy chief of staff who oversees plan”. Many of us have sat with him as he’s made lots of choices.”
” Nobody has the power to independent. No Jeff, not Ron, not anything,” Reed told me.
Another major aides echoed Reed’s consideration, and more stressed that the mayor’s era has had no effect at all on his involvement in these issues.
Top White House economist Jared Bernstein claimed that Biden “makes decisions on everything from student debt relief to 301 tariffs to housing policy,” and that Climate Adviser Ali Zaidi went into great detail.
Spokesman Andrew Bates said in an email:” This single source’s claim is directly contradicted by a large body of ( even critical ) reporting about the policy process, which has continually stressed President Biden’s direct involvement in every major decision.”

It’s naive to think that any president stays informed about every decision, but the White House’s spin is equally gullible. Smith admits”, I’m skeptical, as are many journalists, of aides ‘ insistence that his age has changed nothing about his decision- making process.”
At the same time, it might be easy to dismiss Smith’s source’s worry as paranoia. Even if it is much closer to what the source describes than what the administration is trying to persuade us all, the truth must be somewhere in the middle.
No matter Biden’s direct involvement in policy, it’s scary what this administration is doing. As soon as possible, we must remove these people from office.
