If You Were Duped On Biden’s Cognitive Decline, You’re Too Dumb To Be A Journalist

By the time we saw Joe Biden’s debate&nbsp, crisis, the media had spent four years covering up his mental and physical decline to support Liberals. The internet immediately began pushing Biden out of the competition for president in order to support Democrats after his fragile mental state was exposed.

    The objective remains the same.

The Wall Street Journal&nbsp, reports&nbsp, this week&nbsp, that Biden’s senior experts “aggressively stage-managed” the government’s “schedule, activities and personal contacts, as they sought to minimize indicators of how years has taken a toll on the oldest leader in U. S. story”. Basically, everyone in the White House conspired to conceal the fact that the president of the United States was unable to carry out even the most basic things required of the most prominent position in the world. By 2022, the government’s officials did n’t even think he was up to taking regular cross-country visits.

And now we’re supposed to accept the claim that not even one reporter employed by Fox News ( aside perhaps some employees at Fox News ) had no idea what it was? As Ace Rothstein put it to the “yokel” floor manager in” Casino”,” If you did n’t know you’re being scammed, you’re too f—n’ dumb to keep this job. If you did hear, you were in on it”.

Most writers, &nbsp, one highly suspects, drop in the latter camp. Nobody does such a terrible work. The same stores that employ investigative investigators to discover which banners Supreme Court justices are flying at their holiday homes are able to look into the mystery surrounding our sluggish leader. I wrote a bit with the title” Joe Biden Is Not OK,” outlining a number of events that were recorded in the media ( I was hardly the only one ).

    But when Axios&nbsp, ef=”https://www.axios.coef=”https://www.axios.com/2024/07/06/biden-abc-interview-democrats-support” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>m/2024/07/06/biden-abc-interview-deef=”https://www.axios.com/2024/07/06/biden-abc-interview-democrats-support” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>mocrats-support”>tells ef=”https://www.axios.com/2024/07/06/biden-abc-interview-democrats-support” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>me&nbsp, that” Hell has no fury like a hit aref=”https://www.axios.com/2024/07/06/biden-abc-interview-democrats-support” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>my deceived”, I aef=”https://www.axios.com/2024/07/06/biden-abc-interview-democrats-support” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>m very dubious. ” Writers”, Jief=”https://www.axios.com/2024/07/06/biden-abc-interview-democrats-support” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>m VandeHei and Mike Allen read, “feel duped — and soef=”https://www.axios.com/2024/07/06/biden-abc-interview-democrats-support” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>me perhaps huef=”https://www.axios.com/2024/07/06/biden-abc-interview-democrats-support” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>miliated —and are scraef=”https://www.axios.com/2024/07/06/biden-abc-interview-democrats-support” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>mbling to reveal new evidence of drop”.

There has never been a verdict from the media about how mishandled it has been, as there have been with the Pulitzer Prize-winning fabricated reports about the Russia collaboration ruse or the deliberate censorship meant to lessen the impact of the Hunter laptop story. Nobody has yet explained how dozens of highly paid journalism college graduates evaded the notice of a little functioning president. They just move to the next task.

So, for example, this year CNN’s Jake Tapper assailed Biden’s incomprehensible MSNBC’s” Morning Joe” meeting, noting angrily that it was” supposed to be reassuring to those Democratic followers who have gone unsteady”.

Well, no more reassuring than the rambling gun-control speech Biden gave last year that&nbsp, ended with the words” God save the queen, man”, or the time Biden informed the League of Conservation Voters he was &nbsp, building&nbsp, a railroad “from the Pacific all the way across the Indian Ocean”, or the time our president &nbsp, forgot&nbsp, Winston Churchill’s name while meeting with the British prime minister, or the time he&nbsp, tripped&nbsp, on stage after a commencement speech at the Air Force Academy, or the time he wandered off during a G-7 meeting, or was helped off the stage at a fundraiser by Barack Obama ( which Tapper’s network&nbsp, told us&nbsp, was misinformation. )

The political media did n’t look through White House logs and schedules to determine whether the president was being isolated from the outside world when Special Counsel Robert Hur let Biden, an “elderly man with a poor memory,” slide on his decades-long habit of hoarding classified documents. They attacked the message.

We’re not just talking about&nbsp, awkwardly dishonest&nbsp, partisans like Joe Scarborough and politicians like&nbsp, Pat Murray&nbsp, — both of whom have ruthlessly gone from praising the government’s divine mental sharpness to basically asking him to leave the race — we’re talking about virtually the entire press.

The New York Times has now written&nbsp, two&nbsp, editorials&nbsp, asking Biden to drop out of the race. And they might not have known that Biden was struggling if the board members had only been reading their own coverage. The paper published a&nbsp’s article titled” How Misleading Videos Are Trailing Biden as He Battles Age Doubts,” which made the claim that conservatives had been unfairly criticizing the president a day before the debate. An earlier &nbsp, piece,” Release of Hur Report Underlines Perils of the Special Counsel’s Job”, did not investigate Hur’s contention, it merely amplified attacks on him, noting that report was” seized upon by Trump supporters”.

The Times editorial page helpfully ran&nbsp, essays&nbsp, like” I’m a Neuroscientist. We’re Thinking About Biden’s Memory and Age in the Wrong Way, wherein illiterate readers discover that the president’s failure to recall the year his son died is probably not very controversial. The same thing went on at NBC News, where one story’s subhead helpfully&nbsp, notes: &nbsp,” Forgetting the names of acquaintances or having difficulty remembering dates from the past does n’t affect decision-making or judgment, brain experts say”.

Are there bigger dupes in this country than media-approved “experts”?

Instead of focusing on the danger the administration and a tenacious press have placed the country in, almost every discussion on the left about the president’s fragile mental acuity revolves around his ability or inability to beat Donald Trump. One has a suspicion that if Biden withstands the pressure and continues to compete, they will all go back to covering for him once more.

Because, if there’s anything this incident reaffirms, it’s that far too often the first loyalty of the political media is to the Democratic Party. &nbsp,
