Only months after a rubber fell from a Boeing 777-200 aircraft and caused damage to several vehicles, a second United Airlines aircraft lost a tire on Monday when it was taking off from a California aircraft.

The incident, according to Fox Business, took place on Monday at about 7 a.m. when United Airlines trip 1001 was scheduled to depart from Los Angeles International Airport to Denver International Airport. Despite losing a rubber during flight, the Boeing 757-200, which was carrying 174 people and seven team members, successfully completed its journey to Denver.

According to&nbsp, FlightAware, the Boeing 757-200 aircraft landed in Denver at 10: 51 a. m. ( local time ). United Airlines confirmed to Fox News that Monday’s event is being investigated.

In a statement obtained by KTLA 5, Anousha Rasta, a United Airlines director, said,” The vehicle has been recovered in Los Angeles, and we are investigating what caused this occasion”. No wounds, according to Rapa, were reported as a result of the incident on Monday, either on the plane or on the surface.

In an audio tape shared on YouTube by VASAviation, a pilot can be heard telling an air traffic controller,” A shoe came off that B-757 that took off. We saw it rolling down past bravo-seven, bravo-eight ]holding positions ]”.

According to KTLA 5, the air traffic controller reportedly informed the United Airlines trip 1001 captain of the problem and that the captain appeared to be aware that the Boeing 757-200 had lost a shoe. Another aircraft, according to the outlet, witnessed the wheel spin across two airports before entering a goods region at the airport.

Additionally, an Air Canada flight was diverted by the issue on Monday to enable crews to examine the runway.

A United Airlines Boeing 777-200 aircraft lost one of its wheels earlier this year when it took off from San Francisco International Airport, causing the aircraft to be diverted to Los Angeles. Although the wheel incident did not lead to any injuries, it did cause damage to several vehicles when it hit a parking lot for employees.

At the time, a United Airlines spokesperson told Fox News,” The 777-200 has six wheels on each of its two major landing gear columns. With missing or damaged tires, the plane is designed to get properly.
