White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre made an apparent suggestion on Tuesday that President Joe Biden would not be contacted by the Pentagon immediately or right away if a nuclear weapon was launched against the United States late at night.

” He also said he’s best before 8 p. m .”, Doocy said. But let’s say the Pentagon picks up an approaching nuclear weapon at some point. It’s 11 p. m. Who do you contact? The Second Lady”?
In response to Doocy’s problem, Jean-Pierre explained,” He has a staff that lets him hear of any information that is relevant and important to the American citizens. He has a person, and it is decided clearly with his National Security Council regarding who gets to give him that news.
