On Tuesday, House and Senate Democrats held independent sessions behind closed doors to discuss their “old person problem.”

After the sessions concluded, politicians emerged grim-faced and tight-lipped. To put it simply, things did n’t go well for either Biden supporters or those who believe it’s past time for a change.
Several users’ strong opinions were echoed by one another, demonstrating how divided the group will be in the end result of any political will.
” It’s the stupidest thing I’ve ever seen”, said Biden-backer Rep. Juan Vargas (D-Calif. ). Vargas, a part of the pro-Biden Spanish Caucus, called the government’s detractors a” round fire crew”.
Democrats appear to prefer to support Biden over to replace him. Yet Biden’s most fervent backers on Capitol Hill will have to reevaluate their positions if more surveys like the AARP study from Wisconsin reveal how severely the leader is losing.
Wisconsin is one of Biden’s “blue wall” Western state. Along with Pennsylvania and Michigan, they constitute “must-have” political vote if Biden expects to gain re-election. According to the AARP surveys, Donald Trump won favor of Biden. Trump is off seven positions in Pennsylvania according to the most recent Morning Consult surveys. In November, a decline in either of those states had all but eliminate Biden’s chances of winning.
If the elections keep pointing to a disaster for Biden and if the down-ballot Democratic candidates even show failure, self-preservation on the Hill may take over, and the president’s support among politicians will vanish.

No Democrat representative will oppose Joe Biden in the face of defeat.
As if that poll news was n’t bad enough. Six state were shifted away from Biden and toward Trump by the renowned Cook Political Report.
The Cook Political Report monday moved six says away from Joe Biden and toward Donald Trump: Arizona, Georgia and Nevada have gone from Toss Up to Bend Republican, Minnesota, New Hampshire and Nebraska’s 2nd Congressional District have gone from Likely Democrat to Lean Democrat.
This morning, Cook analyst David Wasserman writes that” Biden’s post-debate dip represents the biggest polling shift of the year”, with Trump leading Biden 47%-44 % in their new national poll normal. Trump’s voter turnout among Black and Latino citizens is inconsistent with any conceivable Democrat success, he adds.
You can add New York to the” toss-up” category according to New York Democrats.
” Elected leaders, union officials, and political consultants are panicking over surveys showing a steady erosion of Biden’s support in a position he won by 23 items four decades ago”, Politico information.
However, as I mentioned earlier, some Democrats are officially despising Biden, and there appears to be sturdy support among important constituents like the Black and Hispanic Caucuses.  ,
Senate Democrats have generally remained silent on the issue of forcing Biden out, despite House Democrats ‘ current current cries of distribution. The Biden skills problem will be largely unresolved as long as their main goal is to defeat Trump.

” I would describe it as a constructive conversation, and we’re focused on defeating Trump”, Sen. Tammy Baldwin (D-Wisc. ) said.
Baldwin, who has said her constituents are concerned about Biden, said Tuesday’s conversation did not change her view.
Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn. ), who has backed Biden, said,” It was undoubtedly consensus on this crucial point that we need to defeat Donald Trump.”
Reality check: Democrats did not state that they were in favor of Biden as the candidate.
Otherwise, it looks like Democrats remain divided. Despite several of them saying this month that they need to travel to a compromise sooner rather than later, they did this.
The Democrats ‘ plan at this point appears to be to strike Trump, keep Biden from the internet as much as possible, and hold their breath as they hope that Americans will despise Trump more than they are about Biden’s degenerative mental state.  ,
