Exclusive: Why 8 Alaska School Boards Hide Transing from Parents

In a PJ Media exclusive, seven of the eight Alaskan school districts acknowledged in response to a complaint from Parents Defending Education that the government’s school board organization encourages schools to keep kids ‘ identity” transitions” hidden from parents.

When Parents Defending Education ( PDE ) challenged eight Alaska school districts on their secretive transgender policies, the districts all cited the primarily state-funded — i. e., taxpayer-funded — Association of Alaska School Boards ( AASB ). Seven of the school regions admitted that AASB’s scheme of hiding children’s transsexuals from their parents was a result of their use of that money, it may appear.

These university towns intentionally withhold information from relatives about their own children, according to Erika Sanzi, Director of Outreach for Parents Defending Education. Any college that participates in or facilitates a child’s transition from one gender to another engages in behavioral therapy, and it is likely to be against the law to cut parents out of the process.

The Alaska school districts in question, all of which have a policy of withholding knowledge of” transgender” identification from parents if the parents do n’t approve of LGBTQ ideology, are Hoonah City, Pribilof, Bristol Bay Borough, Yakutat, Sitka, Wrangell, Northwest Arctic Borough, and Juneau. Not all of those college districts ‘ policies are similar, but they all have an exception for withholding information of a child’s gender” transition” from parents in particular circumstances.

The connections above indicate that all of these school districts, with the exception of Bristol Bay Borough, admitted to PDE in response to public records demands for their trans plan from AASB. Hoonah City district, for instance, told PDE,” We use AASB for our policy revisions and manuals” .&nbsp,

Several districts responded in reasonably short amounts. Juneau’s city was more detailed in its response, if:

The Juneau School District ( JSD ) subscribes to the statewide policy service offered by the Association of Alaska School Boards ( AASB), which provides Boards with updated, expertly written policy updates. This company prevents each area from having to independently review each of their plans; it was originally adapted from Anchorage School District’s Guidelines for Working with Transgender Students and Employees.

Anchorage’s policy claims that universities should withhold information from parents “if the home does not help the person’s desire to change”. Amazing how young children are viewed as capable of choosing to disguise as the other sex without parental approval while 18-year-olds are n’t considered intelligent enough to drink.

Here is another instance of these AASB-sourced policies, from the Juneau School District:” When contacting the parent or guardian of a trans student, school personnel should use the person’s legal title and the verb related to the student’s gender assigned at birth, unless the student has specified then”.

AASB receives 64 % of its learning money for Base Student Allocation from the state, according to a file containing the 2023 legislative priorities that the state has applicable. Additionally, additional tax revenue comes from the national and local institutions. ( AASB, by the way, was demanding yet more government funding. ) Parents may appear to be paying fees for the privilege of having their children undergo gender transitions without their expertise.

Perhaps this is not surprising, but, as Alaska’s solicitor general declared last year that families had to consent to “gender identity” material for kids in school. It appears that Northern officials and educators who are funded by the government are so strongly committed to trans ideology that they are ready to violate parental rights and stoke youth to regret their actions forever.
