The leader simply grinned and said,” Listen to him,” before leaving the stage when a reporter pointed out the problem in the last question, which had asked Biden to discuss the blunder that Trump had made in mocking him.
Before, during a Nato celebration, before the press event, Biden falsely also referred to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy as” President Putin”. ” And now I want to hand it over to the president of Ukraine, who has as much confidence as he has perseverance, ladies and gentlemen, President Putin”, Biden said at the Nato conference in Washington on July 10.
In light of growing tension from Democrats to pull out of the 2024 presidential race, the one-hour press conference was viewed as a critical opportunity for Biden to show his ability to handle difficult questions and consider on his feet in an unplanned environment. Following his poor performance in the CNN debate on June 27 and his party’s subsequent inability to handle citizens ‘ concerns about his health, this force had grown.

Soon after Biden left the stage, property agent Jim Himes of Connecticut, the leading Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, and house official Scott Peters, D-Calif, released statements calling for the president to enter the race. Biden steadfastly refrained from suggesting that he should or may leave the presidency throughout the week and during the press event, stating that he was the most qualified candidate to beat Trump in November. He did, however, acknowledge that if his team informed him that there was” no way” he could win, he would consider leaving the race.
