Where Were the ‘Big Boys’ of the Mainstream Media at Biden’s News Conference?

It was promoted as President Joe Biden’s” Big Boy” news conference, a no-holds-barred gathering of ink-stained wretches and broadcast/cable pretty faces finally freed to fire away with any question they wanted to ask the Chief Executive.

That’s not how it happened. How’s how London’s Daily Mail described the event:

This is what a “big child” press conference looks like: Two teleprompter screens, a list of approved journalists and press aides with microphones, set to silence tough questions.

The phrase, which was first used by a reporter, was used by the White House to indicate that President Joe Biden may provide a no-holds-barred show of his skill to parry difficult questions.

Yet even with the guard rails of windows, fussing advisers and an opening speech, Biden struggled at times with a throaty mouth, botched outlines and rambling answers.

In other words, the White House’s social employees staged the news conference on Thursday at the NATO Summit, just as they have done it for ages with all of Biden’s open activities.

There were states that no pre-arranged questions were posed. But do n’t for a moment think that Biden was n’t aware of what each of the journalists ‘ names on the prompt sheet he displayed at the start of the questions might ask.

Plus, Biden never said the phrase” Okay, who wants to ask the next question,” which he almost certainly would have done if he had been interviewing a horde of agressive journalist who wanted to get straight answers and the hard questions.

There were a few of these journalists present in the room, but the majority of them just sat there and watched the dishonest moving proceed without any effort to stop Biden from breaking the text.

What happened to journalists who were performing their constitutionally protected public services duties of holding public officials accountable for their choices and actions and acting in a “fear or prefer” manner?

Biden’s opponents in both political parties had inflated their expectations regarding the significance of the” Big Boy” news conference. This would be yet another decisive evaluation of Biden’s capacity to lead a next word. Is there a more pressing problem facing Americans right now?

However, if Biden had been given the opportunity to take the exam, Biden had only been given the option to ask any questions that had been pre-planned for him as he sat down the staff’s record. &nbsp,

Even if he felt compelled to use the names on the list, he could have shown some real character by responding to the question with his last name and inviting any writer to question him a question.

No one, to be honest, should have been surprised by the MSM’s solitude. Biden’s terrible conversation efficiency was the lowering of the screen on the Wizards of Kansas in the White House who have been stage-managing America’s Chief Executive and Commander-in-Chief for decades.

The blast of genuine questions and needs regarding Biden’s mental capacity for a second word resulted from that exposé. It also sparked in some circles the unfathomable inquiries about why nobody in the MSM had done their jobs by covering the President’s extremely glaring signs of mental collapse, the lack of his people looks, and why Biden but seldom speaks to the internet in comparison to his immediate predecessors.

Reasonable people may be left wondering if journalists in the MSM have been aware of those issues but made the decision to ignore them as a result of a revelation made earlier this week from Chuck Todd, the former Democratic campaign staffer and more recently host of NBC’s” Meet the Press.” On his podcast, Todd revealed this:

I’m not gonna out the cabinet secretary, right? But I had a cabinet secretary two years ago, all out of the blue ask me,” Do you really think he’s gonna, he ca n’t run again like this”?

And I said,” Well, you have more interaction with him than I do”. And they said,” I do n’t have a lot of interaction with him”.

Todd is doing well to protect his source. Journalists must do that in order to perform their duties for the public. However, that does n’t excuse the fact that Todd had credible evidence from a top Biden appointee that the President was n’t then eligible for a second term from roughly the halfway point of Biden’s term!

If I were Todd’s editor, we would be having a serious conversation about the ground rules for his future employment. However, I doubt that Todd’s editor will engage him in such conversation.

And none of the editors of all the other MSM people who have kept quiet about something that millions of Americans began to see and wonder about within months of the Biden presidency’s inauguration wo n’t be heard. &nbsp,
