As the aircraft sped down the runway, its tail dragged for a few hundred feet, leaving behind a trail of black smoke. Fires were even noticeable emanating from the Boeing’s neck part, as reported by Corriere.
The experienced pilots managed to control the plane and properly lifted off despite the disturbing occurrence. Upon reaching a healthy level, they contacted the manage castle, requesting permission to return to the aircraft for a complete examination.
According to an aviation expert, Corriere la Serra was impressed by the pilots ‘ poise and continued to hold on to control the aircraft until it took off because, if they had interrupted flight, they would have killed people on board.
The expert more outlined,” If they had stopped the movement, it would have been a murder”.
Officials from Italy, Brazil, and the United States are now working together to find out what caused this egregious event. The Boeing 777 involved in the celebration has a standard passenger capacity of up to 500 people.
