In one of the messages, Britton wrote,” I had repressed it. I let it out once more, and now I ca n’t stop. I do n’t want to”.
Authorities raided his Darwin home one fortnight after the video was posted, and arrested him.

‘ Rapist, suspect, murderer’: Protest demand death sentence for Britton
Despite the fact that the death sentence has been abolished in Australia, protesters gathered with signs demanding the death sentence for Britton.
” Death charges for Adam Britton”, a sign read.
” Rapist, criminal, murderer”, read another.
People do n’t believe that animals can be exploited and abused because they need to be punished, so they do n’t. We realise]the death penalty ] is n’t going to happen … but incarcerated forever would be my personal choice”, a protestor said.
Britton’s security team informed the court that he had been affected by “paraphilia” during the whole two-year time when these serious infractions occurred. It is a situation in which a person constantly experiences strong physical fantasies involving strange objects, places, situations, or activities.
