Former President Donald Trump has chosen Democratic senator from Ohio JD Vance as his potential running mate for the upcoming presidential election. According to the New York Post, Vance would become the first vice leader to have facial hair in almost a century if elected.
Charles Curtis was the last vice president to have a beard in 1933, and Charles Fairbanks, who served under Teddy Roosevelt from 1905 to 1909, was the last to have a goatee.

Vance, 39, is the first young to be part of a major-party solution and has become one of Trump’s most ardent followers, particularly in the areas of commerce, foreign policy, and immigration. He gained national attention with the release of his narrative,” Hillbilly Elegy”, in 2016 and was elected to the Senate in 2022.
Trump refuted the stories, telling Fox News Radio network Brian Kilmeade that the hair was classy on his running mate.
” He looks good”, Trump said. ” Looks like a fresh Abraham Lincoln”.
Research suggests that voters interact facial hair with character traits that lawmakers usually want to avoid, such as anger, traditions, and anti-feminism.
According to a 2015 poll conducted by Oklahoma State University, voters in 2015 said that men with beards and mustaches were “more friendly of cannon right, military investing, and the implementation of force” and that these traits are in line with Vance’s social position.
