The body on former President Donald Trump’s mouth was scarcely dry before calls to “take down the heat” and “unite” began , rolling in from Democrats , and their courtiers in the media.
Following the assassination attempt on Saturday night, President Biden called for unity, because did Vice President Kamala Harris and dozens of other Democrats. Even the illiterate and dishonest Democratic Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson, joined the chorus of support and remarked,” We’ve got to turn the language over, we’ve got to turn the heat down in this land.”
Sorry, but that’s not going to happen. There ca n’t be any harmony between the people and organizations that have been stoking the left for years over Trump. Liberals and the corporate press equally are both affected by this.
President Biden has repeatedly stated over and over that Trump is a” danger to democracy” over the past few years. Everyone is upset about Biden’s recent contact with donors, which he claimed was “time to throw Trump in the bullseye,” but much worse language from Biden has been a common occurrence for years. Biden’s infamous Red Marriage speech in Philadelphia, where he declared Trump and MAGA Republics were a danger to politics, was nearly two years ago. He has kept up that harmful language ever since, almost always repeating it. Trump is a “real danger to this country,” according to the president’s post on X on June 28. He’s a danger to our liberty. He’s a danger to our republic. He actually poses a menace to everything that America stands for.
It’s not just Biden of training. Liberals and the press have long encouraged political violence against Donald Trump, with a continuous supply of heated rhetoric intended to stoke riots, terrorist attacks, and killings. They claim they want to calm the speech and call for unification now that their rhetoric has led to an actual death effort against Trump. I do n’t think so. You do n’t kick someone in the face with a hammer and then demand that all take a break.
The corporate media, particularly, has long been pushing what Mollie Hemingway once called assassination prep: constant comparisons to Trump, repeated warnings that if Trump is n’t stopped, and mantra-like repeat that a Trump victory in November would mean the gulags for every leftist personality party. It may sound comical if it were n’t correct.
One of the biggest size murders in human history, Trump, is the subject of the June issue of The New Republic. It is full of reflections on how miserable existence will be under Donald Trump. The New Republic’s readers justified this by saying,” Now, we think we can spend this election season in one of two ways. We can debate whether Trump achieves the nine or seventeen points that determine authoritarianism during the debate. Or we can invest it saying,’ He’s damned close plenty, and we’d greater fight.'”
A number of articles in the recently published article” If Trump Wins” are included in the Atlantic’s” If Trump Wins,” which detail how Donald Trump may damage the United States if elected for president again. Top of the list is a bit by David Frum on monarchy under Trump, followed by parts on sexism, problem, fanaticism, and so on. ( Frum, not to be outdone by himself, posted , an insane rant , Sunday morning blaming Trump for his own attempted assassination, declaring that” the gunman and Trump, at their opposite ends of a bullet’s trajectory, are nonetheless joined together as common enemies of law and democracy”. )
This type of death preparation has been going on for years. The Russia-collusion scam was intended in part to portray Trump as the representative of a traitless foreign power that was attempting to destabilize our nation. Trump, we were told, was the army of the American people and had to be stopped. They never let go of that narrative, and now it’s back in a slightly different form: Trump has to be stopped because this time, he’ll do all the horrible things he did n’t get a chance to last time, plus he’ll be out for revenge.
Democrats are unconcerned by this kind of language. They do it so frequently that it has become habit. At a protest last Thursday, Vice President Harris warned that Trump would be a tyrant, weaponize the Justice Department against his social critics, and kill the Constitution. On Friday, Biden said,” Americans want a senator, hardly a dictator”, and,” I mean this from the middle of my spirit, Trump is a danger to this region”.
The purpose of such chat was to prepare the ground for an attempt on Trump’s existence, and it worked. After all, if you think a subsequent Trump word will create a totalitarian dictator, it’s absolutely socially righteous, and perhaps even delegated, to do whatever it takes to stop him.
But it’s not just assignation prepared speech. Acquire a bill recently proposed by the former head of the Jan. 6 Committee, Rep. Bennie Thompson, D-Miss., to remove Trump of Secret Service protection. That appears to be a deliberate attempt to make it when good as possible for something to happen like Saturday’s attack on Trump’s existence, and triumph, to most people.
Define unity and calm as a result of the Democrats ‘ calls for unity and calm now sound hollow. They do n’t want unity and calm, they want violence. They wanted it in 2020 and they want it now. Now that crime has started, it is irrelevant what they say. It is important what they said prior to it.
After the execution try, Biden feigned anger, saying,” The idea that there’s political crime or violence in America like this is really unknown of”. No, it’s no. Democrats are constantly making hints and blatantly supporting it when they are n’t actually calling for it.
So no, there wo n’t be any political terrorism until Democrats and the media renounce their violent rhetoric and stop promoting the worst, most unstable elements in the country.
Liberals and the media have made it clear to the rest of us that they are our enemies, that they wish for real hurt, and that they are prepared to plunge the country into civil conflict and violence before relinquishing energy. There’s no cohesion to be had with such folks.
