
James Sikking, an artist known for jobs on TV displays” Doogie Howser, M. D”. and” Hill Street Blues”, has died. He was 90.
According to his journalist, Sikking passed away peacefully at his Los Angeles home after a dementia-related concomitant.
” In a outstanding job, Sikking’s wonderfully interesting face gave us drama, comedy, drama and hilarious comedy. His career spanned over six years in television, film and on period”, Cynthia Snyder, said in a speech. ” His skills, integrity and creativity intrigued and happy people”.
Sikking’s job began with smaller jobs in a number of TV and film productions, including” Rawhide”,” Perry Mason”,” M. A. S. H”. and” The Rockford Files”. A major break came in the early 1980s with the portrayal of Lt. Hunter in the police play” Hill Street Blues,” which lasted seven seasons and won Sikking a First Emmy election.
In 1989, he was cast as Dr. David Howser, the parents of a skilled prodigy, in” Doogie Howser, M. D”.
Neil Patrick Harris, who played the titular Doogie on the long-running present, memorialized his original co-star on social media.
” Jim Sikking played my uncle in’ Doogie Howser, MD, and was one of the sweetest, wisest, funniest, and most good people I’ve always known”, Harris wrote in a post on Instagram. ” A real expert. Sikking is survived by his family of 61 years, Florine, their brother Andrew, their girl Emily, and four children.
