In the midst of Donald Trump’s almost powerful assassination attempt on Saturday, the Secret Service has come under much-deserved attention. According to reviewers, the shooter’s residence should have been secured if he had shot at Trump. We’ve heard calls for studies, but many are n’t expecting any true responsibilities.  ,

For example, Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle, whom Joe Biden appointed again in 2022, is refusing to retire.  ,
In an ABC News interview that aired Monday, Cheatle acknowledged the weight of the new assassination attempt on the previous president, stating,” This is an occasion that should have never happened”. When Chief Justice Correspondent Pierre Thomas asked her who was responsible, Cheatle replied,” The Secret Service is responsible for the protection of the former President” . ,
Thomas followed up with,” So the buck stops with you” ? ,
Cheatle affirmed,” The buck stops with me. I am the Secret Service’s Director. It was intolerable, and it’s something that really n’t occur again”.
When Thomas asked her if she planned to stay on, Cheatle responded,” I do plan to stay on,” and Thomas acknowledged that some members of Congress had been requesting her departure.

I do n’t doubt that she wo n’t resign or that the administration wo n’t force her out. However, she ought to do so in light of recent discoveries that have revealed that the safety problems that almost led to Trump’s murder are even worse than we previously believed.  ,

The death attempt on Trump was the subject of serious new information discovered by the Pittsburgh-based Channel 11 News on Monday. Numerous law enforcement sources reported that they found Thomas Crooks on a roof roughly 30 minutes before shots were fired.

Channel 11′s Nicole Ford confirmed that Beaver County’s ESU crew had eight people at the rally, including guns and sharpshooters. According to Ford’s resources, one of them noticed a suspicious person on a ceiling near the march at 5: 45 p. m., called it in and took a picture of the person. According to what we can tell, Thomas Crooks is the man in that photo. It’s said that Crooks may have been carrying a firearm at that time.
A law enforcement officer recently called in Crooks as a cautious man with a photo before 5:45 p.m., according to multiple sources.
Shots were fired from the ceiling of the American Glass Research building about 26 days after the second photo of Crooks was taken by legislation enforcement and the information was provided. Moments later, a Secret Service sniper returned flames and , killed Crooks.

The Associated Press likewise reported , that a local police officer” climbed to the ceiling and encountered Crooks, who pointed his shotgun at the officer. The officer retreated down the ladder, and Crooks immediately fired a shot at Trump.
However, Cheatle is making bad excuses for the lack of safety.
