Three New Jersey-based businessmen bribed US lawmaker Bob Menendez with money, gold, and a luxury car. At a federal judge in New York City on Tuesday, the ruling was made public.
Prosecutors testified during the nine-week demo that the New Jersey Democrat cheated on his wife and used his office to gain his associates and protect his allies from criminal investigations. These activities included arranging to meet with Iranian intelligence officers and assisting Egypt in obtaining millions of dollars in US military support.

The legislator and two New Jersey entrepreneurs are currently being tried, each of whom have entered a not-guilty plea. A second business testified against Menendez and the other defendants and entered a guilty plea before the test.
Nadine, Menendez’s woman, was even charged, but her trial has been delayed as she recovers from procedure for breast cancer.
In 2022, FBI officials raided Menendez’s house in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, where he lived with his wife. They seized metal plates valued at almost$ 150, 000 and more than$ 480, 000 in income, some of which was hidden inside gloves and jackets bearing the president’s name.
Menendez expressed some optimism as he left the courtroom on Monday as the judge was carefully examining the evidence during their discussion. In two distinct notes, the judge had inquired whether unanimity was required to acquit “on a single count.”

Menendez made announcing his intention to run for reelection this year as an impartial a few weeks ago.
