The richest investor in the world announced on Tuesday that he would move two of his businesses ‘ headquarters from California to Texas.
Elon Musk claimed on the technology platform he purchased past fall that the California president’s decision to sign regulations barring parents from knowing about their children’s sexual orientation or tale pronoun usage was the “final grass” in his decision to leave.
” Because of this law and the many others that preceded it, attacking both families and companies, SpaceX will now move its ]headquarters ] from Hawthorne, California, to Starbase, Texas”, Musk wrote. ” And X]headquarters ] will move to Austin”.
Musk added that he was frustrated with San Francisco’s steep drop, where X is now headquartered, forcing people to evade “gangs of aggressive drug addicts only to find in and out of the creating”.
Caitlyn Jenner, a transgender journalist and Fox News contributor, voted in favor of the transfer of Musk’s corporate office.

California became the first state to outlaw requiring educators and administrators to share a person’s sexual orientation or previously claimed identity personality to parents on Monday. The new law was approved by the Democratic Governor. A southern California school district now involved in state dispute over transgender parental notification methods was immediately sued by Gavin Newsom.
Musk, whose personal child identified as transgender, wrote on X that he” stated that I did make it clear to Governor Newsom about a year ago that rules of this essence may push families and businesses to keep California to defend their children.”
With another online post, Musk warned that” a lot of families and companies will move out of California because of this law.” Who would want to take the chance that their children will be taken away from them?
California’s Republican Assembly Leader James Gallagher confirmed in an interview with The Federalist that “radicalism” has caused a lot of businesses to shut down.
According to Gallagher, “we’ve already seen a lot of businesses moving to states like Texas,” pointing out that residents have been driven out of state by overregulation and radical laws on crime and transgenderism. There will be more to come, and it has already caused harm to us. Due to the large number of people leaving California, we lost a congressional seat.
One of Gallagher’s colleagues in the state assembly last summer advocated for families to “flee” the state over the bill’s cascade of legislation that would strip parents of those worried about the spread of trans ideology in the classroom.
” In the past when we’ve had these discussions and I’ve seen parental rights atrophy, I’ve encouraged people to keep fighting. I’ve changed my mind on that”, said Republican State Sen. Scott Wilk. ” If you love your children, you need to flee California. You need to flee”.
Wilk stated that he would be stepping down once his legislative term was over.
On Wednesday, Gallagher told The Federalist,” I think there are Democrats who would say privately they’re concerned but they’ve been unwilling to say it publicly.”
