Law enforcement officials apparently arrested a man wearing a ski helmet who was armed with an AK-47 on Monday near the Republican National Convention’s Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

A federal law enforcement supply, according to Fox News, confirmed that the man had been detained after approaching the RNC boundary as Capitol Police and Homeland Security Investigators were conducting surveillance activities. The gentleman was identified as being wearing a military bag and a ski mask, according to the federal law enforcement resource.

” Milwaukee Police arrested a 21-year-old gentleman for carrying a concealed weapons on July 15, 2024, at about 1: 00 p. m., on the 1200 block of N. 11th Street”, the Milwaukee Police Department said in a statement obtained by Bill Melugin, a Fox News editor. The suspect appeared suspicious, appeared to be wearing a ski mask, and had a big tactical backpack at first sight while walking down the street.

According to the Milwaukee Police Department,” United States Capitol Police conducted a participant stop, and it was determined that the believe was concealing a rifle in his backpack.” The suspect is not licensed to use a CCW in Wisconsin or another position. A split incident occurred on Tuesday near the Republican National Convention, when law enforcement officers fatally shot a person.

The Columbus Division of Police released a statement confirming the deadly shooting, saying,” This day, the Columbus Division of Police was made aware of an officer-involved shooting involving It soldiers. The officers involved were in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, assisting the Milwaukee Police Department with safety during the Republican National Convention”.

The affair did not appear to be related to the agreement, according to the Columbus Division of Police, who noted that it occurred within the “operational zone” and the “outer perimeter” of the Republican National Convention on Tuesday. The Columbus Division of Police added that an analytical group was “actively investigating” the position.

Both situations in Milwaukee occurred just weeks after former president Donald Trump was only able to survive a murder attempt at a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
