” I do n’t want people to be sad about my brother. I want them to recall him for the real joy and love he brought to women’s life”, Simmons ‘ brother, Lenny Simmons, wrote in a Facebook , post , Sunday. ” He really cared about people. He called, wrote, and contacted thousands of people throughout his job to present support”.
Lenny continued:” Do n’t be sad. Observe his living”!

In 2022, a Fox documentary , reignited speculation , about his whereabouts, prompting Simmons to bless his followers for their “kindness and love” in a pleasant Facebook post.
Earlier this year, Simmons revealed he had been , diagnosed with skin cancer , — especially basal cell carcinoma — and received remedy to remove the cancerous cells.
