President Biden is scheduled to retreat from the 2024 presidential race, according to Mark Halperin of Newsmax on Thursday afternoon. He wo n’t be supporting Kamala Harris, but he will instead advocate for an open convention in Chicago.  ,

” According to my sources, President Biden has agreed to step down as a Democratic nominee”, Halperin told” Frontline” host Carl Higbie. ” It does happen as early as this trip. He has been given a statement. He may continue on as chairman, is his goal. He also will not, I’m told, accept Vice President Harris as his leader. They anticipate that he will support an empty selection process for the Democrat nominee for president that will be open to Vice President Harris and a select few additional Chicago individuals.
At the Chicago agreement, Halperin mentioned that Vice President Harris is thinking about running with Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear and Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro as possible candidates for complete tickets.
“ Different possible individuals who are being talked about include Gavin Newsom, the governor of California, perhaps Gretchen Whitmer, and again the vice president running“, Halpern continued.  ,
Halperin explained that if an empty convention is held, standard members would be able to cast ballots on the first ballot under the contract being discussed by Joe Biden and senior Democrat leaders. The very delegates would then be able to cast their ballots if there was no champion on the first ballot.

” This determination was reached, I’m told, all of a sudden because of the high-level force from Nancy Pelosi, Barack Obama, and others, as well as the choice of many of Biden’s best aides, that there was no way forward for him, that he would not be able to get this election, win the general election, and so he’s stepping away again as early as this weekend”, Halperin said.
Higbie questioned Halperin about the possible social connotations if Biden chooses to support Kamala Harris in favor of a group that values variety. While Biden will likely praise Harris, according to Halperin, he wo n’t endors her in order to avoid what some call a” Kamala coronation.”

Some of her supporters have told me that the sin president thinks this, but others believe she did win, that she will choose a sturdy running mate, that she does have the backing of several delegates who are delegates from Biden Harris, and that she can earn this essentially on her own,” Halperin said.
Higbie then brought up the question of how much money will be managed given Biden’s extensive campaign war chest if Harris is n’t the nominee. A new ticket may energize the party, drawing both small and large donors, according to Halperin, who stated that there are various types of funding available. Major donors ‘ current reports indicate a reluctance to rear Biden, but they are expected to support a new solution, regardless of whether Harris is included.

Is this statement real? Are Halperin’s options trustworthy? Reports have been made that suggested Biden was about to leave the campaign, but they did n’t work. Ultimately the decision to drop out is Biden’s, and I still do n’t know what’s going to happen.
The key to consider at this time is whether other sites are individually reporting the same thing.
