Alec Baldwin’s legal team has &nbsp, signaled its intention to sue&nbsp, a Santa Fe sheriff and prosecutor after it was revealed they withheld evidence during his trial for the&nbsp, on-set shooting death of” Rust” cinematographer&nbsp, Halyna Hutchins.

Attorneys for Baldwin warned Santa Fe attorney Kari Morrissey and Sheriff Adan Mendoza of “future prosecution” stemming from their activities during his involuntary murder trial in a pair of survival notices obtained by Rolling Stone.

Both parties have been asked to” &nbsp, keep all relevant details” and “devices, hard drives, emails, text messages, and other electronic connections” related to the legal proceedings, according to the files. That includes” all communications between and among anyone at the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office ( ‘ SFSO’ ), the First Judicial District Attorney’s Office ( ‘ FJDA’ ), and/or the Special Prosecutor’s Office (‘ SPO’ ) related to the Incident”, as well as all “documents, communications, and information referencing or relating to Mr. Baldwin.

” Should you or anyone in your office change or cancel any of these materials, or often fail to agree with&nbsp, this&nbsp, request, &nbsp, you may&nbsp, face&nbsp, serious&nbsp, consequences, including legal liability, court sanctions, and severe evidentiary inferences in any succeeding proceeding,” the notices warned.

On Friday, Judge Mary Marlowe Sommer, in a stunning walk, &nbsp, tossed Baldwin’s event in the middle of prosecution, &nbsp, blaming the Santa Fe Sheriff’s Office and Morrisey’s failure to disclose important proof regarding the source of the life round that killed Hutchins on Oct. 21, 2021.

When Hutchins was fatally shot by a prop weapon that Baldwin had handled, she was setting up for a scene inside the Bonanza Creek Ranch in New Mexico. He was &nbsp, practicing a bridge draw&nbsp, with his a revolver when it immediately went off, tragically striking Hutchins. Joel Souza, the chairman, also suffered injuries during the incident.

Both 66-year-old Baldwin and the show’s blacksmith, Hannah Gutierrez-Reed were&nbsp, charged with involuntary manslaughter&nbsp, in connection with the firing.

Gutierrez-Reed&nbsp, was found guilty&nbsp, during a separate test and sentenced in March to 18 months in prison. Her legal group has asked that she be freed in light of Baldwin’s new case departure.
