First Baptist Church of Dallas, a megachurch established in 1868, is on fire. The chapel, which is located in downtown Dallas and is pastored by forthright Trump supporter Robert Jeffress, has an estimated 19, 000 people.  ,

According to the Dallas Morning News, first firefighters were called to the temple at 6: 05 p. m. Central. Fire Capt. According to Robert Borse, they were confronted with “heavy smoke and fire problems involving the composition.” ”  ,
A fire that officially started in the extra chapel of the historic church was brought under the control of forty fire units to the church.  ,
A two-alarm fire is being treated to a two-alarm flames at the First Baptist Historic Sanctuary in Dallas by Dallas Fire-Rescue personnel.

Pastor Jeffress was appointed to Trump’s Evangelical Advisory Board and White House Faith Initiative in 2016. He has been a significant christian supporter of him. Trump went to First Baptist in December 2021.

I think Donald Trump has a goal. I have the impression that God spared him in order to restore our country to its Judeo-Christian basis. Trump has made the exact statement. You know, some years back, I had a conversation with President Trump—then business Trump—and we were talking about the role of God in primaries.
I told him that I backed the statement in Daniel 2: God establishes princes and He removes princes. Some people do n’t think that God has anything to do with politics, government, or elections. Make no mistake: God has everything to do with state. What happens in various governments around the world is important to God.
Benjamin Franklin was a christian most of his career, not a Christian, but he said:” The older I get, the more I’ve come to believe that God governs the affairs of men. How can an empire been created without the assistance of a bird, if he cannot fall from heaven without giving him his permission?

There’s no word yet on the reason of the incident or projected damage. If this was a local terrorist strike, God help us all. I’ve been known not to be a fan of temples getting seriously involved in politics. However, Jeffress and First Baptist deserve and need our blessings right now.  ,
