In response to increasing calling for President Joe Biden to step down, US Vice President Kamala Harris assured key Democratic sponsors on Friday that the group may prevail in the upcoming presidential election. This visit addressed donation concerns as some lawmakers pressed Biden to resign from the 2024 culture.
According to a caller who was on the phone, Harris stated,” We are going to win this vote.” The visit was conducted on short notice to calm the contributors. ” We know which candidate in this vote puts the American people first: Our chairman, Joe Biden”.
The phone followed President Biden’s strong commitment to work in the 2024 culture and the Democratic Party‘s purpose to fast-track his election. At least nine Democratic politicians, but, pleaded with Biden to withdraw on the same day.
Multiple Democratic solutions with knowledge of the events reported that several of Biden’s plan fundraisers were put on hold. Donors had threatened to withdraw money from the plan, causing problem.
According to an offer seen by Reuters, donors were asked to attend a 30-minute presentation to “discover essential, emerging needs.”
According to one person who was in charge of the call, Harris answered “at the strong demand of senior advisers to the president,” and another person confirmed this statement.
