A new poll by the AP-NORC center for public affairs studies revealed that a sizable percentage of Democrats believe Vice President Kamala Harris would perform well in the role of president if she were to succeed in it.
According to a report from CNN, roughly 60 % of Democrats believe that Harris will be able to lead the country successfully, while the remaining 20 % are either skeptical or lacking adequate information to form an opinion.
The poll comes as Democratic officials become more concerned about Biden’s ability to carry out his political duties, especially given his lackluster performance in the debate on June 27.
Many in the party have made it clear that Harris or another applicant may have a better chance of defeating former President Trump, the party’s presumed nominee.
New elections, such as the Suffolk University/Boston Globe study of Massachusetts residents, demonstrate that a majority of good Democratic or Democratic-leaning citizens prefer a candidate another than Biden to encounter Trump in the upcoming election.
The latest vice president, Kamala Harris, has been the subject of numerous domestic discussions regarding a potential Democratic ticket copy.
Despite this, Harris has consistently shown unwavering public support for President Biden, shielding him from the problems and criticisms launched by restless party leaders who have spoken to the internet on the condition of privacy.
