Since the Trump assassination attempt has sparked a lot of conspiracy theories, it really does n’t come as a surprise. There are undoubtedly some genuine inquiries about how the affair might have occurred in the first place, but many on the left believe the whole thing was staged.

About one-third of Joe Biden’s supporters think the assault was staged and was never intended to kill past president Trump, according to a Morning Consult surveys.
That’s a surprising amount that is unfortunately convincing. After all, most folks on the left believe that Trump colluded with Russia to seize the 2016 election, which they, of course, think was very much stolen.
Associated: We Have Yet Another Disturbing Update on the Trump Assassination Try
Without a doubt, the left-wing advertising is behind these views. Over at MSNBC, where anti-Trumpism dictates the cover, oil is continually poured on the flames of Trump death try conspiracy theories.
Yet Michael Steele, the former head of the Republican National Committee, questioned whether Trump was really shot.
What about reports that goblet from the shattered script may have caused him harm rather than a gun that may have been fired? Steele asked.
As Fox News Digital records, this idea was rejected two days prior by the left-wing fact-checking page Snopes.
However, the leftist network also produced a lot of crazy.
Enter Joy Reid, a midnight variety with a long and storied record of lies and deceit. She then went one step further by suggesting that the entire assassination attempt was really staged and choreographed for Trump’s political gain.
” I have some issues! Like where are the health information”? she posted on X this month. ” What caused Trump’s wound, and what was the damage? Shrapnel? Glass? A gun? Where were the three shooters who were standing or seated in relation to Trump?
Why was it okay for Trump to pose for pictures in front of others? she likewise asked.
You get where all this is going: They’re saying that Trump was engaging in stolen courage. They’re missing the point that even if Trump was “only” grazed by a bullet, he almost died as a society looked on.

CNN’s main medical correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta, is even dubious and wants a “public analysis” of Trump’s injury.
Gupta wrote on Friday that a thorough common judgment of Trump’s injuries is required for both the former president’s personal wellbeing and the clearness it can provide voters with about the recovery of the man who might once again lead the country.
David Marcus recounts a revealing conversation he had with a man named” Mark” at a bar following the Republican National Convention in an article for Fox News Digital. Mark was seriously invested in the idea that the Trump assassination attempt was planned to gain him. Mark boldly asserted,” That whole issue was a setup”.
Before Marcus was reply, the bar, John, who seemed to have no passion for either Trump or Biden, interjected,” Nah, two people are dead. No method”. Mark dismissed John’s suspicion, commenting,” This is Donald Trump, he’s capable of anything”.
Intrigued, Marcus probed more. He inquired about how the alleged rig might have been planned. Mark had prepared solutions, speculating that Trump’s people may have bribed the gunman’s community or promised the gunman a lenient sentence. When Marcus brought up the death of Corey Comperatore, a retired fire chief who died heroically shielding his family from the assassin’s bullets, Mark coldly retorted,” Donald Trump does n’t care if his supporters die”.

Marcus was struck by Mark’s lack of stereotypes as a lunatic or conspiracy theorist. He seemed rational enough, albeit prone to believing in unfounded theories. He reiterated his conviction that Trump could do anything as he consumed his caesar salad and veal piccante topped with mussels. Marcus pondered this conversation as to how someone like Mark could have such strong convictions without any solid proof.
The answer, of course, is obvious. ” Why would n’t Mark, if he has a steady diet of liberal media, think that Trump is capable of killing innocent people”? Marcus asked. ” After all, they say he will deny women their rights, he wo n’t let black people vote, he will destroy democracy, and on and on and on. Trump is conditioned to believe that nothing should be put past him, and he is a unique evil.
Ironically, it’s the same kind of coverage that would shoot Trump at someone and make them feel morally righteous.
I do, without a doubt, have questions about the attempted assassination, which revolve around “how could this have been allowed to happen”? Undoubtedly, each new development raises unsettling questions, but in the long run, I do n’t want to believe what some of the evidence suggests.
The issue is that those who despise Trump want to believe everything that has been said in his name.
