Joe Biden, the president of the United States, tested positive for Covid on July 17 and announced his intention to withdraw from the race for senator in the “best attention” of the party and the nation four days later. In addition to providing more information about the decision, Binden promised to address the audience after this year. Although White House officials had anticipated this, the news suddenly appeared. According to reports, Biden was in the process of discussion after his debate debacle, but just 48 hours after he and First Lady Jill Biden claimed they were no putting up a wall. In fact, the choice was made at the last minute.
Family meet, telephone calling: Here’s what happened

    1. A top campaign director told CNN that Biden had spoken with his home and leading advisers before the race’s exit plan started on Saturday night.
    2. Biden was studying the information but was unsure about Kamala Harris. On Saturday, Biden huddled with two stops experts– Mike Donilon and Steve Ricchetti– who presented data that showed that a path to victory ( for Biden ) was “basically nonexistent”, CNN said.
    3. Biden made it clear at the conference that he intended to withdraw from the race and requested that his advisers begin drafting the letter he posted on Sunday evening. Biden’s health situation was never a element behind the determination, White House officials said.
    4. Biden was at his house in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, as he was recovering from Covid. First Lady Jill Biden was with him.
    5. He held a family gathering on Saturday night and made the choice to withdraw from the race. On Sunday, his daughters Ashley Biden and Howard Biden, his son-in-law, came to visit him.
    6. He confirmed his judgement on Sunday morning and began to make calls to people outside his near group.
    7. Anita Dunn, one of Biden’s close contact advisers, was not made aware of the decision until the very last second, it was reported. Days before the article, they learned about it.
    8. Before making his announcement, Biden had spoken with Kamala Harris numerous instances on Sunday. Additionally, Biden reportedly contacted plan co-chair Jen O’Malley Dillon and chief of staff Jeff Zients separately to let them know his decision.
    9. At 1:45 am, a moment before an official declaration was posted online, Axios reported the precise time when the senior team members outside of Biden’s internal circle were informed of the information.
    10. To prevent the information from being leaked before Biden made the article, utter secrecy was kept.
