According to a legal filing from Sunday, Hunter Biden has deliberately dropped his petition against Fox News.
The same day as his father, President Joe Biden, resigned from the competition for chairman, Biden also filed a lawsuit against the advertising company. It’s unfamiliar if the activities were related.
Hunter Biden previously filed the lawsuit over Fox News’s The Trial of Hunter Biden , line, with his counsel saying the” set intentionally manipulates the information, distorts the reality, narrates happenings out of context, and acquires speech intended to entertain”.
The prosecutors expressed concern about the release of images that “depicted him in the shirtless… as well as engaged in sexual acts” by the outlet.
The petition fulfilled a , threat , made by Hunter Biden’s attorneys that they would sue over the line, which the channel took down in April. A fictitious version of how a prosecution against Hunter Biden may look was provided by the line on Fox Nation, its streaming services. Judge Joe Brown, the television character in charge of it, cautioned people that what they were seeing was hardly a true test and that Hunter Biden was no facing costs.
Fox sought to market Mr. Biden’s character by covering up a gap between the dissemination of information or knowledge, according to the lawsuit.

Biden’s attorneys cited three causes of action: A violation of Biden’s civil rights due to the intimate images “disseminated and published” by Fox, alleged intentional infliction of emotional distress by Fox, and Fox News’s alleged unjust enrichment from the series.
When the lawsuit was first reported, Fox News stated in a statement that” this entirely politically motivated lawsuit is devoid of merit.” The main complaint concerns a 2022 streaming program that Mr. Biden did not address until writing a letter in late April 2024. In an abundance of caution, the program was removed within days of the letter, but Hunter Biden is a public figure who has been the subject of numerous inquiries and is currently a felon. Consistent with the First Amendment, FOX News has accurately covered the newsworthy events of Mr. Biden’s own making, and we look forward to vindicating our rights in court”.
