Hunter Biden, the eldest son of US President Joe Biden, has withdrawn his legal actions against Fox News for using his skinny photos.
The case was dismissed the day Joe Biden’s re-election battle came to an end.
The collection in question, titled” The Trial of Hunter Biden”, consisted of six shows released on Fox Nation, the virtual program owned by media mogul Rupert Murdoch’s community, in 2022.
The series depicted a fictitious criminal trial with a disclaimer claiming that the events were untrue. It depicted Hunter Biden facing corruption charges, which is in line with the long-standing charges made by Donald Trump’s followers, who have cited his past business dealings in China and Ukraine. However, these claims have not resulted in any lawful action.
The younger Biden sued the platform earlier this month, alleging that the line ‘ addition of real-life nude photos of him was “revenge video.” The pictures in question were taken from a computer that Hunter Biden had left at a computer maintenance buy but not recovered.
Fox News responded to the lawsuit, stating,” This wholly politically motivated complaint is free of validity”. They further added,” Mr. Biden did not complain about ( it ) until sending a letter in late April 2024. The plan was removed within weeks of the letter, in an abundance of precaution”.
Hunter Biden’s attorneys ‘ decision to drop the complaint was not made clear in their court filing.
