Vice President Kamala Harris was criticized by Texas Republicans on Monday over her handling of immigration coverage for the Biden administration, which could have a negative impact on her chances of winning the Democratic nomination for president.
After Harris announced he would reject the election, they sought to blame the leader for the rise in illegal immigration since the couple took workplace three and a half years earlier.
At a news conference in Houston, U. S. Sen. Ted Cruz said on a scale of 1 to 100, he’d level Harris’s efficiency in that position “negative 6, 003”.
” She has presided over the worst war of the United States of America in the history of our nation, 11.5 million people”, Cruz said. ” And it’s deliberate. She wanted this to occur. Joe Biden wanted this to materialize”.
In a large task that included the vice president with examining the causes of the wave of migration from Mexico and Central American nations, President Biden appointed Harris as the government’s point individual on the root cause of immigration in 2021. Trump assigned her to focus on Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador in certain, since a wave in refugees was coming from that area.
Cruz and some, however, attempted to relate Harris to laws governing the U.S.-Mexico borders. Cruz claimed that Biden and Harris ‘ open border plans are the cause of the previously Democratic South Texas’s transition to the Republican Party.
Cruz attributed these laws to allowing assault victims, child sex, and the introduction of deadly fentanyl into the country.
” Kamala Harris has been in cost of it, and she purposefully created this crisis,” Cruz said.” Ironically, if she is leader, the only reasonable assumption is that this gets worse,” she said.

Joining Cruz in Houston, State Rep. Charles Cunningham, R-Humble, chided Harris for not visiting the frontier more often and said during his own visits to the Rio Grande he was stunned to see refugees from Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
” I saw many persons, looked like they were still in the airports with their baggage, just rolling across”, Cunningham said. That is all due to the policies in place with the current administration now.
Due to Republicans in Congress blocking a nonpartisan border security act, the evil leader had helped deal with Republican Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, the Harris County Democratic Party seat Mike Doyle claimed that many conventional attacks on Harris on the subject are repugnant. Trump urged Republicans in Congress to halt the$ 118 billion package, which would have increased funding for border patrol and made it harder for immigrants to seek asylum.
” They’ve lost their right to chastise anybody of anything based on that”, Doyle said. They” truly intentionally sabotage an immigration option just to create a political problem,” they claim.
As Harris emerged as the primary Democratic candidate, the second wave of Republican comments focused on a topic that is likely to garner even more interest. Harris was quickly denounced by another Republicans for her efforts in addressing emigration.
” The’ borders czar’ has been an absolute failure”, Gov. Greg Abbott wrote on X, sharing a picture of Harris talking. ” America’s future is bleak if the boundary king becomes chairman”.
Abbott suggested that Texas might need to triple the boundary wall, razor line barriers, and border security personnel.
If Harris become her group’s nominee, her campaign’s messaging around immigration may be important. More than any other issue, immigration and border security were the top two topics in a University of Houston survey of Texas voters on July 11 that included immigration and border security as their top priorities. 40 % of those polled back Donald Trump, and 4 % did so before the president abruptly resigned from the race ).
