I have attended about a half-dozen national standards, Republican and Democratic, and watched at least a few more. And I may state two things: 1 ) They have all frequently bored me. 2 ) The 2024 Republican National Convention did n’t. The RNC no simply held my interest, it usually moved me emotionally.

If the people of the troops killed in Afghanistan during our preventably lethal removal did n’t move you to tears, you are much more philosophical than I am. You’re made of tougher stuff than I am if you were n’t deeply moved by the tribute former president Donald Trump and the audience paid to the fire who died at the Trump rally by throwing his body on top of his wife and daughter to protect them.
The applause that were sung every day Israel was mentioned moved me a lot. Nothing more accurately captures the social differences between the two events than their sentiments toward Israel. However, it will be interesting to see if Israel is also once at the Democratic National Convention mentioned in a positive way.
However, both Trump and the Republican Party committed a serious error, which I pointed out on my television present during the agreement and have since pointed out.
President Joe Biden received almost all of the speaker responsibilities at the agreement. The market did the similar, as when it had chant,” Joe had go”.
I have pleaded with Republican business seeking for years to place their problems on their opponents as much as on the Democrat Party and the Left.
No attending the convention has since proven to be ineffective– just three days later. Today,” Joe did go”. Thus, all the effort and time put forth to attack Biden was completely wasted.

I have never understood why Democrats generally focus their energies on their Democratic rivals despite making no mention of the danger the Left and the Democratic Party pose.
It may have made sense for Democratic candidates to concentrate their efforts on their opponent when the differences between Republicans and Democrats were much less significant than they are today. It made sense for Eisenhower and the Republican Party to concentrate on Stevenson’s reported shortcomings and Eisenhower’s reported values in 1952 and 1956 when Republican Dwight Eisenhower ran for president against Democrat Adlai Stevenson and the Democrat Party did not pose an existential threat to America.
But at least since the 1960s, this strategy has made no sense.
Joe had leave, not because of his bad policies, even though he is a figure deficiency, but because of his character. Biden was a Democrat, not because he is Joe Biden, but because he caused but little harm to America. And the Democrat Party has been taken over by the Left, which, unlike standard democracy, is destroying all that is great and unique about our state.
What Democrat seeks to do for president, governor, lawmaker, or representative is totally irrelevant. But good they may privately be, as far as policies and values are concerned, they are all nearly identical. How does Vice President Kamala Harris differ from Joe Biden in terms of laws and beliefs? How are Gavin Newsom, Bernie Sanders, Nancy Pelosi, J. B. Pritzker, Gretchen Whitmer or Pete Buttigieg unique? Or for that matter, how different is the liberal-sounding, but left-wing governing, governor of Pennsylvania, Josh Shapiro ( who may well be the Democrats ‘ vice presidential candidate, since he is from a politically vital state )?

For instance, Shapiro usually spoke out in favor of school selection before his and his Democratic Party’s opposition to a bill supporting tickets for Pennsylvania’s poorest children. As RealClearPolitics pointed out five days ago:
” Next year, Shapiro failed our most vulnerable children by vetoing his promise to implement Lifeline Scholarships, which would have saved hundreds, if not hundreds of thousands, of kids trapped in failing and unsafe classrooms. This time, the government when once betrayed his word.
” For 12 weeks, he’s called these scholarships ‘ empty enterprise.’ Despite being pressured by his party and the tutor organizations, the governor resigned. Every Democrat in the House voted against Lifeline Scholarships despite the support of republican Democrats in the Pennsylvania Senate, with the governor saying nothing to the contrary.
Shapiro stood with perhaps the most dangerous left-wing establishment in America, teachers organizations, despite overwhelming support for school choice in Pennsylvania.
As the RealClearPolitics article noted:” New polling shows that 75 % of Pennsylvanians still support Lifeline Scholarships, including 87 % and 88 % of Black and Hispanic voters, respectively. If just Shapiro could support them.
In other words, who the Democrat running for office is does n’t mean a damned thing. It’s all that things, if someone is a Democrat. The left-wing group is the issue.

It’s no Joe who had to move. He’s then gone. And it makes no one touch of distinction.
” The dangerous, dangerous Democrat Party has to go. Every Republican member for every business in the country should be using that phrase, and it should have been for decades.
