Then, Jean-Pierre stated that Biden’s decision to withdraw from his reelection campaign had” no spin” and that he thought Kamala Harris was” the right person” to support his campaign.

Biden’s speech revealing he did not remain his 2024 election campaign was made a few days after he was diagnosed with COVID-19 on Wednesday, and he has been recovering at his home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. He made it known Tuesday night that he would address the nation and explain “how I may finish the job.”
