In a recent interview with Fox News host Jesse Watters, Donald Trump revealed the components of a conversation he had with President Biden soon after surviving an assassination attempt at his campaign rally in Pennsylvania.
According to Trump, Biden told him,” You’re blessed you turned to the right”, referring to the time when the 78-year-old Democratic presidential candidate turned his head to look at a table, barely escaping a shot fired by 20-year-old Thomas Crooks during the march in Pennsylvania, on July 13. Trump described the discussion with the 81-year-old president as a “nice” one.
Trump also stated in the interview that he would not allow himself to become carried off period on a bed after the gun’s bullet grazed his hearing. The meeting was recorded on Saturday and then aired on Monday.
Despite the Secret Service agents ‘ emphasis on using a bed, Trump stood his ground, saying,” I’m not going on a gurney”. Initial impressions of the officials, who had piled on top of him times after the shots were fired, were that he had been hit in the stomach.
Trump continued to say that he felt the damage was to his ear despite acknowledging the presence of” a lot of heart” that may have worried the agencies. This led to a “little discussion” while the officials were also lying on top of him, with Trump asserting,” I’m telling you, I’m Fine. I’m good. I’m going to get up. I need to rise. I’m not going to be taken out on a bed”.
Regarding his present situation, the GOP candidate reported that his correct ear is “good” and “getting many better”, with the dressings slowly becoming smaller. He called the wound” a dirty one.”
Additionally, Trump suggested that a probe been launched to ascertain whether Biden’s physical and mental decline was being covered up by the White House. He argued that someone should look into the matter, saying,” Appearance, you had people that lied to the American government. And I tell you what: You ought to glance at his doctors because they continue to give him this excellent report.
