
Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa ) shared a new body camera video that shows the aftermath of the attempted assassination of former president Donald Trump on July 13 at a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. In the movie, law enforcement officials discussed how a detective “lost view” of would-be killer Thomas Matthew Crooks prior to the killing.
The Iowa senator wrote that the body camera footage’s use of X, originally Online, “provides more information than the Secret Service will communicate with America.”
Additionally, Grassley pleaded for accountability for the security violation that resulted in the deaths of two different Trump rally participants and the inflicting of severe injuries on one of them. He tweeted,” We NEED detailed answers ASAP on stability problems TRANSPARENCY BRINGS ACCOUNTABILITY”.
A dialogue between law enforcement agents on the top Crooks used to take the former president is captured in the new body cameras picture, which Grassley claims was obtained from the Beaver State Emergency Services Unit in accordance with congressional calls. Afterwards in the film, the agent explained that some people had been taken into custody after the incident was captured. He noted,” Maybe they were involved, maybe they were n’t” . ,
” The guys that saw them filming come,’ They were filming us, and therefore filming the person up on the roof, and therefore filming us, and then when the shots started firing, they ran aside.’ And I go,’ Is n’t that what everyone was doing?'” the representative added.
