Perhaps it was when you left your house for school. Or perhaps when you enlisted in the army and turned 18? Some might’ve left to get closer to a boyfriend or girlfriend (or, today, both ). We all understand what it’s like to move ahead from your home for the first time as an adult.

It’s a common practice.
Finally, after you move, you’ll build close connections with the new people in your new community. They’ll talk about their history, you’ll communicate ( what you assume is ) an amusing story about your past … and they’ll suddenly gaze at you in utter horror.  ,
” Uh, oh”, you’ll think. ” I guess Uncle Larry’s Thanksgiving Day tickle-tournament WAS kind distinctive. Ouch”.
That’s the point: You always fully understand how strange, weird and spooky your family is until you move ahead. Rich or poor, black or white, but you grew up – whatever the customs and no matter the idiocy – will often feel… regular.
If you raised your baby in a loving, close-knit family home, next gratitude. You blessed your kid with the single greatest benefit possible: the standardization of like, honesty, and compassion. This will always be your child’s default-setting – and will guide him or her in potential interactions.
( And, sadly, the opposite is also true. )
In” The Shawshank Redemption”, they called it “getting institutionalized”. Like Morgan Freeman said,” These rooms are interesting. Initially you hate’ em, then you get used to ‘ em. Enough day passes, you get but you depend on them. That’s institutional”.
It happens in existence. It happens in captivity. It most certainly happens in people.
And it occurs within the Democratic Party.
The Democrats assume WE ca n’t recall anything because they have grown so used to Joe Biden, a man who has the memory of a goldfish.

” My pretty first choice as the party nomination in 2020 was to get Kamala Harris as Vice President”, declared Biden. ” And it’s been the best decision I’ve made”.
( Narrowly edging-out his awesome decision on Afghanistan, probably. )
” I’m watching you, kid”, Biden mumbled to Harris. ” I love you”.
( Which even my Uncle Larry thought was creepy. )  ,
You see, to the Democrats, all of this is totally standard: Last month, Biden was in it to get it! He was smart and clever, proudly refusing to bunker to the critics! Dagnabbit was the only person with the expertise to carry out the task because there was too much work to be done.
And this week, the Democrats want to believe that none of it happened. Shh! This not talk about Biden again. It was Kamala all along. Kamala, Kamala, Kamala! We are so fortunate to have her because she’s one of the unusual social comets!  ,
It’s never normal to us. For anyone standard, it’s neurotic. But it’s normal to them.
They’ve been institutionalized: It’s the Bidenization of the Democratic Party.
