The White House press presentation may be held by press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre for the first time since Joe Biden made the announcement that he would step down from the competition.
It’s been nine times since Jean-Pierre held the previous media briefing, on July 15, with Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. On Tuesday, she made an appearance on the View, a daylight talk show.

Biden will render his first public address on Wednesday after announcing he is leaving the competition. On Tuesday, he initially appeared in public in six weeks.
